Gods can do whatever they want...since their Naz-shot- I mean gods.
That awkward moment where Kyoro is one of Satan's Generals.i give. the whole write up was basically suwako being rash and hotheaded after losing to kanako, then a time skip to being more level headed sometime after sanae coming to the shrine but before going to gensokyo and then a final time skip and showing why suwako would be the carefree childish god that she we know.
this turned out to be a pain in the ass to write so im just going to quit it here and write why i think suwako would be the carefree childish god that we know.
Just another passerbyThe Mature God
Suwako is a god that has found exactly where her place in existence lies. As a god it can be all to easy to see yourself as all powerful, and her loss to Kanako freed her from just that mindset. To have your own view of your existance broken can be a very traumatic experience but not only did Suwako move past it, she found a way to thrive in the new outlook. Suwako had her own mortality, even as a god, shown to her. She realizes how fleeting all existance is and she accepts that. One day there will be no more followers, or another god will come along to challenge them and won't be as forgiving as Kanako was, or the barrier will collapse, or the sun will go supernova, or any other possible event will occur that will bring their chapters to a close. But instead of succumbing to nihilism, Suwako accepted this and chose existentialism instead. "If the world will end tomorrow then today we must celebrate." Suwako enjoys the little things because she knows that she is one of them in the greater scheme. "If adults must hold themselves responsible and not allow themselves to have fun, then why should I be an adult?" Her childlike form is a result of the combination knowing that her fate is not in her hands and realizing that kids are the only ones that truly relax and enjoy themselves.
Just another passerbyThat kind of fits in with her stage theme Tommorow is Feast, Yesterday is not.
You mean Tomorrow will be Special, Yesterday was Not.

"Seriously, don't eat the mermaid. And not just because it's half cannibalism." ~OtherarrowSome of the songs are called by multiple names. For example Sepette for the Dead Princess/Sepette for the Dead Queen. A Wonderful Life at the Cemetery/Lets Live in a Lovely Cemetery.

Doing nothing is a choice.Feasts are special.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersNot when it makes a title horribly engrish.
"Seriously, don't eat the mermaid. And not just because it's half cannibalism." ~OtherarrowRapattu still updates it every month or so.
Lather, rinse, and repeat the next day.

That awkward moment where Kyoro is one of Satan's Generals.Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we eat, drink and be merrier than we did today.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThat write up was an interesting take on Suwako and her character. A bit short, but I liked it.
I take it that was "the good bits" version of your scrapped minific write up?
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.that was the idea i started with, then i was gonna have the minific be Suwako slowly realizing the foolishness in thinking your life will last forever and going from rash and arrogant, to level headed to our Suwako
Just another passerbyThe word is probably hard to translate. It's a very Shinto term. Literally it means "sunny", but in context it refers to the kind of semi-holy days during which it's okay to have festivals and such. Or something like that. I'm not an expert.
Tomorrow will be a day that is acceptable to hold a festival, Today is not an acceptable day to hold a festival

Forever liveblogging the AvengersI am pretty sure that is too long of a title
"Seriously, don't eat the mermaid. And not just because it's half cannibalism." ~OtherarrowTomorrow is Frog Day, Today is Just Thursday
Forever liveblogging the AvengersBut it's friday for some people in the world
are you racist to time zones bocaj
"Seriously, don't eat the mermaid. And not just because it's half cannibalism." ~OtherarrowEven though time zones aren't a race and aren't even people yet since the Japanese have been slipping, yes. I hate them. I think they're suspicious and untrustworthy. And probably want to steal our women and jobs. And hamburgers.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersPretty sure I explained it badly. It has to do with purity, our favorite subject. here's the quote from wikipedia:
Oh.
Well 95% of the fandom calls it Tomorrow will be Special, so I'm sticking with that.
"Seriously, don't eat the mermaid. And not just because it's half cannibalism." ~OtherarrowIf I were a translator, I'd probably use something like "auspicious".
I wish purity had a face so that I could punch it in the face.

The "married couple" idea fascinates me, but I see them more as "roommates", so to speak. Of course, they act like parents to Sanae of course! (With Kanako being the strict/perfectionist, but loving, mom and Suwako being the cheerful and fun, if not kooky dadother mom) It depends on the situation I guess.
As for...that. I always assumed Suwako could change forms whenever she wanted to. I don't really think about it.
