I like how she opens with an introduction of oni logic, for the sake of others reading this.
Well I was thinking on how Suika's a fnal boss and even if Yuugi was fighting at full power she wouldn't be final boss level.
I have a feeling this wouldn't sit well with her so I wrote that
"Seriously, don't eat the mermaid. And not just because it's half cannibalism." ~OtherarrowAbout holding back...I wonder if it's just showing off, or if she actually estimates how much her opponent can take without being blown to bits.
I'm willing to bet a little from column A, a little from column B
"Seriously, don't eat the mermaid. And not just because it's half cannibalism." ~OtherarrowActually, it's more like Suika is Ex-Boss material (though the game she was a boss in doesn't have an Ex Stage). Yuugi should definitely have the power to be a Final Boss, at least... If being a Nue like, well, Nue, is enough to be that powerful, then being one of the strongest oni should do the trick as well. And there's the fact that when Yuyuko was playing around, she was a Stage 1 Boss... Though there is a difference between "playing around" and "holding back".

"Seriously, don't eat the mermaid. And not just because it's half cannibalism." ~OtherarrowTHERE IS A TIME AND PLACE AND IT IS NOW
Now is both a time and a place?
According to the story where Yuugi and Suika get their names, Suika was the strongest deva. Also, Kasen was a deva. And Yuugi did stuff.
Spacey wacey timey wimey.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersYuyuko being the Stage One boss in Ten Desires was done with the intention of screwing with people who power level debate based on stage placement.
As for the minific, you get two thumbs up. The only grip I have is that it isn't clear who she is talking to, if it was meant to be anyone.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.I'm going for the default option and assume it's Aya, unlikely as that is.
Trying to divine a character's power based on her stage number doesn't accomplish anything, and neither does describing a character's power in terms of a stage number. It's far from certain that every Stage n boss is on par with every other Stage n boss. It's not even certain that any given Stage n boss is stronger than her respective Stage n-1 boss.

My only question with your write-up, Meta, is why Yuugi would want to challenge Suika's views.

you'll then have a grave in the clouds where you won't lie too crampedI guess you didn't catch the "I'm jealous" part :V
"Seriously, don't eat the mermaid. And not just because it's half cannibalism." ~OtherarrowThere's a fairly good doujin called Crazy Furious God where Suika visits the Underground and Yuugi punches her though several walls for having been gone so long. Then they forget why they were fighting and go for a drink.
Also, there's an apparently obligatory Marisa appearance for some reason. It is a mystery.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI feel stupid now. D'oh!
On topic: Yuugi is a pretty cool gal, eh, drinks and doesn't afraid of anything. (has nothing else of relevance to say, sorry.)
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Seconded, Yuugi is the best bro of Gensokyou EVAR!
That awkward moment where Kyoro is one of Satan's Generals.Good question!
I dunno.
Maybe she's just trying to convince Parsee that there's more to Onis than drinking and fighting (even though that's basically what her whole rant was about anyways).
"Seriously, don't eat the mermaid. And not just because it's half cannibalism." ~OtherarrowBecause why not? She's Marisa! Everyone likes Marisa. Especially when she's appearing as the main character of a fangame.

"Parsee, we oni are totally deep and philosophical. Some nights we just lay back staring at the cave roof and wondering what its all about man and if god really exists. And then we remember that time we beat up god. Hahahah, that was hilarious! Fill up my bowl, will you?"
She's such a spotlight hog.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersWell, they can hardly dress up their battles as philosophically meaningful. Unless oni suddenly subscribe to several fictional views of kung fu.
And that despite Reimu being voted the most popular character in the series four years running. Curious. Touhou fans are a capricious and inscrutable lot.
That write-up gets my stamp of adorapproval.
