I like Pokemon but find the games grow very boring very fast. Fifth gen sounds like it is making some changes that could hold my interest without having to force certain rules on myself like permadeath. Permadeath GREATLY increases the fun level of Pokemon because I feel more attached to my stupid bitches then. Not anywhere near a Monster Rancher or Digimon World level of attachment though.

It would be financial suicide for Nintendo to discontinue the Pokemon series.
