We just tested it. Save is compatible with the new patch. The new Silk Road part just spawned on loading the game.
Looking forward to introducing some Umayyacare to my empire.
Edit: Ok, hospitals are nearly neat if you can upgrade them enough. I built low-level hospitals in my personal demesne and invested a lot of money into building all available upgrades in my capital.
So now the Black Death appears and everything in Spain is dying, with only my capital being completely untouched by it.

Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.Just started a game as an ethnically Ethiopian viking (Norse/Germanic) in Jorvik (I really like the new East African portraits and wanted to use them) and quickly setting about conquering Northumbria with my starting war and taking the petty kingdom of Wessex before the AI could ruin Middlesex. Crowned myself queen of England and then Slow Fever starts wrecking all my shit while I'm off taking Zeeland so that I can reform the faith (plan is to use the three southmost holy sites, early crusades be damned - I will take the fight to them and prove their religion to be a passing fad).
Started a custom ruler game in Italy, one of my younger daughters ended up as a Demon Spawn. Now she's a werewolf who gets military advice from Jesus. Hoping to end up getting immortality because this is too funny to stop.
How does that happen?
The Demon Spawn bit or werewolf/Jesus military advice part?
Both.
I didn't know it had supernatural.
Not sure about the others but the Demon Spawn event chain is back from Sons of Abraham for players if they're Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, or Zoroastrian. It replaces virtues and leaves them with the following traits once they come of age and gives a massive stat boost, lustful, envious, deceitful, ambitious, cruel, genius, possessed, impaler. They also get 1500 event troops lead by three witches with really high traits and all of pagan religions.
Before adulthood the kid will murder via event everyone ahead of them in the line of succession and the demon is able to recover from maiming, blindness, disease, and castration, escape from prison. Voice of Jesus and werewolves are also old, Voice of Jesus gives a +20 Martial so my Demon Spawn is absolutely slaughtering everyone in battle with her 56 Martial.
The werewolf though? and Imortal?
I think Horse Lords added werewolf, immortality was added in The Reaper's Due.
Is it like posible to make a ruler with the imortal and werewolf traits on purpose?
Werewolf is a modifier so I don't think so, I think you could use console commands to add Immortality. You can probably trigger the events for both through console commands though.
I started a custom ruler in Gotland. Wound up with some lucky breaks on the Raid and Holy War armies from my councilors, so I rolled for broke and attacked the Petty Kingdom of Finland. I was a vassal to Sweden and forgot that my Petty King was only that, so when I won the war, I wound up independent. I'm hoping Sweden forms the Kingdom before the Kingdom of Finland is within my grasp, which seems likely. I want to go back to being a vassal and just supporting my liege instead of being the guy all the way on top.
Well, I learned something new today that killed my Ironman Stellaris game.
Never rival a Fallen Empire unless you can beat them. I did it for influence thinking they wouldn't attack me and then BAM.
Anyway, when's that new patch supposed to come out?
October, IIRC.
So, one of my courtiers (my skill 20 physician, in fact) ate all the odin-forsaken food and I had to open the gates, and I was expecting my courtiers to just all get sick and die. Instead, absolutely nothing happened. Kinda disappointed that nobody bit it. Or even caught anything. In better news, my second-born daughter and future jarless, Halla, got the flu and promptly received treatment so stellar that all of her stats are higher than they would be if she were not ill.
It took about five years, but the slow fever has finally passed throughout England. I have been funneling raid moneys into universal healthcare. No Norseman, Anglo-Saxon, or Englishman should ever be denied the glory of Valhalla by such an unworthy demise as disease.
Also, the the king of Great Moravia reformed the Slavic faith, so that's a thing.
And apparently, now anyone can convert their way out of a holy war if their moral authority is low enough. Once the crusades begin, I plan to use this to break the Catholic faith - losing their Crusade should cost them a whopping 30% (their current base is 50%, though I may push into Germany and take Koln to push their base MA down to 40%, as the Pope usually generates insane amounts of MA) moral authority, and now organized religions below 30% MA and unorganized religions below 40% MA can convert to the faith of any organized attacker who is using a religious multi-county CB (holy war, crusade/GHW/Jihad, or Muslim invasion). With any luck, the mess of Karlings will convert rather than surrender their clay, allowing me to take a hands-off approach to de-Christianizing France, Germany, and Italy.
So I'm playing a Stellaris game as humanity, and I've only just now encountered another alien civilization, in this case a Fallen Empire. On the upside I've encountered three other alien species: two pre-spaceflight species that I'm observing, and one subterranean species in the Sirius system. It's actually amazing how much you can do when you've only got a handful of species including yourself so no one is your next door neighbor and curtailing your expansion.
Now I just need to find out how to get rid of the energy deficit I have yet again. That always happens to me xD
I'm also using a mod that gives me Republic ships from Knights Of The Old Republic :D

Energy deficits are a short-term, easily-corrected problem, fortunately.
In my current game, "pre-spaceflight species" means "sweet, I don't have to build up a colony when I can just invade and enslave."

Yeah, but even with almost every possible system I'm close to packed to the brim with power plants and whatnot, I can't get rid of it.
Maybe I should downsize my navy some, scrap a few corvettes.
That's unusual. (I expect it to be a more serious problem in Heinlein, though.) Do you need to go to war for some betharian ore?
I've got two deposits, actually. But they won't make it up, I think it's like...30 deficit? XD
Solar panels on all of your (hopefully numerous) spaceports?
There's also a spaceport attachment that gives ships you build there an upkeep reduction bonus. Might be worthwhile in the long run.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.Yes, but that also runs off of energy.
And yes, I do have solar panels.
Are you sure this actually happened? Because they track down the modifiers now, and supposedly a treatment don't raise stats above their original value. Of course, there could be a bug, but I notice many people just never noticed that and just looked at the tooltip and assume a -2 disease and a +3 treatment would result in a +1 net gain when the actual stats never actually received that last +1.
True.
Also the launch trailer for The Reaper's Due is out. I wonder if there's a way to straight-up cut off trade to prevent the plague? I saw there was a "Shut the Gates" option.
