Even beyond the fact that the move isn't chopping off Spider-Fat's head, would a creature from an alternate world really name a move after Dr. Joseph-Ignace Guillotin? (I know the former is really more of the issue, but the latter is probably the more pertinent question.)

Guillotine is normal-type though. And also a 1 hit KO so type advantages mean very little to it, with the exception of outright immunities.
What they need to use is Sky Attack.

Point stands about being an OHKO, which appears to actually be what's happened to our spider vamp. He must have been lower level; those moves don't work on higher levelled enemies.

One hit KO moves are best taught to high-level, low-tier pokemon. A level 100 Kingler would be unlikely to take out a level 99 Arceus any other way.
