Candi — Oh, I hadn't heard that. That's very interesting. I've gotta look into that.
Unfortunately, I think thirty years of choral singing has trained my brain to be especially receptive to earworms. I pretty much always have something stuck in my head; I only care when the song is annoying. :D
Moonlight Sonata right now, btw.
Oh, and the next picture is up. I forgot, that's why I came here!
Nice, although I think he made Agatha's head a little small.
http://www.mansionofe.comSummer is the perfect time to go out and pick cogs! You can even put a small bunch of them in your hair.
Most aristocrats have wine cellars. A few cellar cheese, ham and salame. But only the Heterodynes cellar spare parts against the day when the Madness Place hits and they need stuff to make the next all conquering clank.
If it moves, eat it. If it doesn't move, kick it—then eat it!I think the forge one was summer, and this one is autumn. The colors and the whole collecting loose things in a basket and all that.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettSo Wednesday we should get a generally green (or possibly pastel shades) for Spring. But what would come on Friday? Because I don't expect the story to continue before Monday.
If it moves, eat it. If it doesn't move, kick it—then eat it!You're right — they've labelled it now, even though the two previous still don't have titles.
There's little teeny tiny titles in the bottom left cornersof them all. Tnis is Autumn/Rust. The first was Summer/Heat.
Ah, thank you.
@Another Bear: Hmmm... maybe we'll get Agatha as Mother Nature?

"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."Thank You.
My impression of these posters is 'drawn by an artist who knows what Agatha looks like but couldn't get her to stand for the pictures'. It's why they definitely look like Agatha, but may be slightly off compared to the main comic.
Also- I love this pic! So very pretty and interesting!
'May you live in interesting times.'- Chinese curseCandi Ooooo, I hope so!

If it moves, eat it. If it doesn't move, kick it—then eat it!These guys remind me a lot of the robots in Machinarium.
Reminds me of the Queen of Wands tarot card.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettI dunno: that's The Lightning-Struck Tower (as in "tear down in order to rebuild") about to happen to somebody, I think. :/
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I just keep coming back to the thought that her chances of being electrocuted here are like, 100%
I meant appearance, not meaning.
Sparks bend reality. That puts her getting zapped at 99.99%.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettAnd it will only make her stronger. And more jubilant.
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."For those of you who care, the fan-fic 'It Takes a Village (Or Sometimes an Army)' by Azzandra has been updated. I am providing a link to the first chapter of this excellent Girl Genius AU. http://archiveofourown.org/works/1795681/chapters/3849913
Let the discussions ensue! (Pending an update of the actual comic, of course.)
'May you live in interesting times.'- Chinese curseIt is a very good fic although I'm not sure what to discuss about it, other than seconding the rec.
Yeah — Azzandra's a very good writer. I'm glad she didn't decide to end the fic before this point, considering she said at one point that she kind of considered all the essential parts done and everything after set up to unwind naturally. (I kind of know the feeling of getting an AU set up but not really wanting to spin things out further, but I do think this one will benefit from actually including how things play out. :D) I'm also relieved — I was kind of worried she'd be put off the story for a while, when she mentioned she was getting hassled about it in reviews on other works!
But I'm afraid I don't know how to discuss a fic that most of the thread probably hasn't read, either. Some people aren't into fanfic, and some people might read it later and would prefer not to be spoiled, so the options seem a bit limited.

There is fanfic forum we could use to start a thread on this, if there's enough interest.
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."I'd be interested. I just reached chapter 5, so I'd need another day or so before I'd join the conversation, but yup. I'd be there. :)
A sci-fi story and a fantay story walk into a literal bar...
Or replace it with something better!
