Cats are leaving bags en masse.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Am I reading this correctly? are we getting actual solid information?
How is it an overlay? is Klaus always in charge? or only sometimes?
Hmmmmm
DoodlesWhen confessing to Bang, Gil said that Klaus is always "pushing", but I would say that most of the time, no, he's not in charge; that evidently only happens when Gil gets too close to Agatha.
http://www.mansionofe.comoooh ok that makes good sense. And really interesting if whenever they re together Lu and Klaus come out to play...makes for some reaaaallly good conflict!
DoodlesOw ow ow ow ow. Getting called out on your behavior by the Other. There's gotta be a trope for that.
Tweedle does seem to be really quick on the uptake when he hasn't been suddenly transplanted 2 1/2 years in time and had to hide out for three days.
Uh, Lu, I strongly suggest you look around. I don't remember anything in GG or real-world sanctuary that said that members of your own party couldn't smack you upside the head. Or steal your weasel. Whichever happens.
I think we all called Gil and Klaus, right? Moxana points party?

Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettAnd now I suspect one of them is about to say Skifander?
Why does Lucrezia think that Klaus 'should' supplant the primary personality? Has she ever met Gil (when he wasn't unconscious) for comparison?
Will our heroes end up explaining to the monks that they are both possessed by dybbuks and are working on a cure? (It's going slower than they'd like, but then, hardly anyone does this kind of research, so they have to start from scratch with a lot of it.)
And... was that a blush in the last panel?
'May you live in interesting times.'- Chinese curseI'm a biit disappointed with the trend in the recent strips (by recent I mean many years :p) that they spell out the obvious rather than implying it, instead of making reveals shocking the characters are just adjust immediately, and there's a bit more tell than show for my tastes.
At least Klaus is distracting Lu from taking off the locket.
Not sure it's fair to blame Tweedle for Aaronev's downloading Lu, even his own son couldn't stop him after all. Tweedle has plenty of things of his own to be blamed for.
Isn't the locket welded or locked on now?
The background color changing - orange to purple and back - and the round gold thing. I presume that's the new train waking up. I expect the electronic devices will recover on their own shortly. I hope so, I want to see what Agatha and Klaus have to say to each other.
I *really* hope this makes Klaus reconsider the ethics of his actions, but he's pretty thickheaded that way.
Tweedle now has more incentive than ever to marry Agatha/Lu. Lu knows most of his family's secrets. Isn't he officially her subordinate or something? He also has more incentive than ever to kill/incapacitate Gil/Klaus (because he doesn't want her marrying him). And now he knows something about the head of the empire that can be used against him. And Klaus should realize that if he can get his mind off Lu for one second. Meanwhile Agatha's own minions outnumber everybody but the monks. This is interesting.

"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."If Krosp and the bears are still around, Agatha and her minions outnumber even the monks. No way Krosp would let any harm come to Agatha.
Man, I do hate Lu's overwhelming belief that those personalities she deems merely useful pawns should just be altered, wiped or controlled for her own whimsy's sake. <teeth-grinding sounds>

The background changes are just for drama. They've done them before.

Although Ulm-train coming to life would add yet another interesting complication.
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."-grabs popcorn- I think being complimented and encouraged by Lucrezia might be just about the best telling-off Klaus could get.

Possibly they are setting up a 'your approval fills me with shame' moment.
That's the trope I was trying to think of!
Yeah, Tweedle just got a elephant's crapload of useful intel there. Which may be why he's being unusually quiet and well-behaved for him, rather than his usual boisterous self.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry Pratchett@Elfkid: I think it has less to do with supplanting Gil and much more to do with Lu merely wanting to supplant anybody. Her personality is the superior one, why should she keep anyone else around. She said that to Klaus because she wants him "in the dark side".
Euo: I agree, it's rather shortsighted of her not to try to work in partnership rather than have to constantly fight for control. but perhaps the constantly fighting for control is not something she'd ever had to do until she started trying to over write sparks.
DoodlesI think she was trying to appeal to the monks, by offering their movement what was effectively a bribe. She would like Klaus as a partner, mostly because she respects his intellect, yet thinks he's controllable. She doesnt seem to have much respect for Tweedle, but that could change.

"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."Lu doesn't know Tweedle. She only knows he's a member of a family allied to her. (And she doesn't know even that's currently in dispute.) I think the poor dear is in for quite a shock at some point.
Even Agatha has a healthy respect for what Tweedle's capable of. She'll still kick his arse if he touches her, but she doesn't downplay what he can do.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettShe might actually know him personally, since her family was involved in the effort to breed a useful/sane Storm King. Though her last memory of him would presumably be like it was with Theo, as a young child.

Or had the dummy around earlier for some other reason, even if it was completely silly/needed context to explain (but not necessarily make sense).
