Agatha missed two, maybe three birthdays... do you think Europa has a system for dealing with chronological vs physical age?
(Sigh... I'm looking at the calendar and thinking what the inhabitants of Mechanicsburg are probably going to be saying if they stay stuck in there until the timer on the black ball wears off: "I don't feel older than I did five years ago!")
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettBelated thought: So if it's a train which devours everything in its path... wouldn't that make it a chew-chew train instead?

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.@Candi: With the Ulysses engines and the other Sparks with minor Time Experiments they are more likely that have some way to deal with that issue.
So it is the Chew Chew Train?
Well here goes nothingI dunno, that's what I'm calling it if anyone asks.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Makes perfect sense to me.
If it moves, eat it!^ Likewise, and that's my new headcanon regardless of what name the actual comic gives it.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpIt would be funny if that ends up being the affectionate nickname Saturnus Heterodyne had to it...
Well here goes nothingInteresting fact: there's a real-world project working on a mobile construct that eats things to power itself ...
Their working on a robot cow. Amazing.
So there's this children's short on the Disney Channel called "Choo Choo Soul" which features singing and dancing on an animated "Soul Train." I cant get this image out of my head of a Heterodynian "Chew Chew Soul" train. You know what that one eats...
"Here comes the Soul Train!"
[Sound f/x]: Chew chew chew.... chew chew chew...
I think there’s a global conspiracy to see who can get the most clicks on the worst liesI think that's, "Here comes the soul train . . . RUN!!!"
If it moves, eat it!And, "Aaarrrrgh! It's gaining! Keep running!"
I'm thinking the guess that Saturnus was trying to help is probably right. But Heterodyne diplomacy probably consisted of building a bigger Death Ray until Bill and Barry.
To me, Agatha's diplomacy seems to be, "I want to be nice. But I built this death ray if you won't let me be so."
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry Pratchett...unexpected similarities between Agatha and Klaus?
Maybe Saturnus was influenced by his as-yet-unnamed wife.
Maybe he was trying to do something helpful to please her, only he didn't quite grasp the essentials of the concept.
A sci-fi story and a fantay story walk into a literal bar...That sounds about right. He was so weak on subjects like that she poisoned him . . . possibly as an act of mercy.
If it moves, eat it!I think Saturnus was also the one who set the town hall on fire in the year of three winters. So there is precedent for his attempts to be helpful not working out, even at home.
I do like that one of the opinions the Monks are taking into consideration is that of a witch protecting a stone circle. Makes me approve of them even more. Though I suppose it could be that it's Brother Ulm talking and we know he's a good guy.
Names seem to vary between the novels and the comic. Sturmvoraus/Sturmvarous is the one that bugs me most.
The new page is up.
I'm wondering, again, what Lady Selnikov's plan actually was.

I love the scenery in this page. So very cool!
Also, Wooster's expression in the forth panel.
'May you live in interesting times.'- Chinese curseThe Chew Chew Train is a bit like: "I'm in your base eating your stuff."
Well we must remember something: Being a Spark means taking Wisdom as your dump stat.
Well here goes nothingtext The engine was bloody it was sweaty and damp And brilliantly lit with a brimstone lamp Faster and faster the engine flew Louder and louder the thunder crashed Brighter and brighter the lightning flashed Hotter and hotter the air became Oh how the passengers jiggled with pain Begged old Satan to stop that train
Or, "Way ahead of you, brother."
Oh, what a world... What a world... ;D
