Seeing it again, I do like the paralels with the Madara vs Hashirama fight. Under normal conditions both Uchiha are outmatched by their opponent powerwise so they both get powerups by stealing tailed beast chakra.
In fact. the main reason the fight lasted so long is because until Sasuke made his Super Susanoo', Naruto wasn't going all out.
it's a definitely a case of the hero holding back because they're trying to save their friend from themselves.
There's a lot of good intricacies to the fight that I think are going to make good gifs.
here's ghost Itachi and Nar and Sauce changing forms as they clash◊
and here's most of the first portion of the fight◊

Secret SignatureDr. Snakes kinda seemed OP in the beginning when fighting Base Naruto. I mean, it makes sense since Sasuke got powered up by the Sage and Naruto wasn't using Six Paths form. Bijuu Susano'o was definitely OP though in the anime, when in the manga, Sasuke immediately made Indra's Arrow to fire at Naruto. Loved Naruto bro fisting Yin Kurama as well as Kirin returning.
Lelouch is fabulous. Imma Xehanort on You Tube, Twitter, and Gamefaqs. The fact that Naruto didn't recognize Hinata's feelings for so long has to do with how she confessed. It was Lost in Translation, but she said, "Daisuke ono," not, "Ai shite iru." While the latter is unambiguously romantic, the former does permit a platonic interpretation.
That's hilarious actually.Hinata being Hinata to the bitter end.

I need a new sig.Okay, in that form changing bit, it looks like one of Naruto's "forms" is to close one eye and stick his tongue out.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyTBF Sasuke was fighting with both his magic eyes active whilst Naruto was fighting in normal base form. Remember at the end of Part 1 Naruto needed to start using Kurama's chakra to keep with Sharingan using Sasuke, here he's holding his own quite well considering.
This sequence is here is especially well done if only for the sheer complexity of it.
Watch SymphogearNaruto has come a long way.
Lelouch is fabulous. Imma Xehanort on You Tube, Twitter, and Gamefaqs. This fight also showed how to do fluid animation right.
When it's done right, it's gorgeous.
It's decently animated, I wouldn't really call it 'amazing' or 'gorgeous' honestly (mostly because Naruto's shirt keeps distracting me, it looks like they painted it in crayon in the far shots), but I do believe it lasts too long. I think the manga actually did this fight much better by not stretching it like that.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariThats how most animation is done. Far Shots are never as detailed as close up shots becasue thats what matters most.
It probably is the best TV animation Perriot has ever done, honestly.

Watch SymphogearThere's a lack of detail, and then there's actually adding the detail necessary to make it look like it was colored by a crayon. Why isn't it just solid grey?
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI didn't see what you were seeing, so I don't know?
Watch SymphogearIt's most easily visible at around 1:20. It looks like they're trying to make the fact that it's mesh obvious even at a distance but the result is that it looks out of place with the rest. Should've just been solid gray.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariNot even sure what you're trying to show here?
Also, a 1:20 into what video? Are you talking about episode 476, or 477?
Or just a condensed version of the fight you happened to watch? There's plenty of those around right now.
Agreed.

The fight was amazing, tbh, so was the animation.
I really enjoyed the Taijutsu fight at the beginning, too, it's fluid af.

Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.Could be just the screen I'm watching on, but I find that unlikely.
Just look at Naruto's shirt. It really stands out from everything around it. Starting from around 1:15 it should be very easily noticeable. It's just really odd because everything else is, for lack of a better term, flat and simplistic in terms of color - every color we see is solid with no real shading. It has an aesthetic very similar to the manga's pages in that way.
It's just the mesh on Naruto's shirt that they messed up. Should've just been solid black or grey, but they tried to add a pattern to it and it looks like a videogame glitch, like the texture is struggling to load, or like they painted it with a black crayon or something stupid like that.

This looks great to me.
Lelouch is fabulous. Imma Xehanort on You Tube, Twitter, and Gamefaqs. It also accurately represents what a fight between Sasuke (using his hax eye powers) and Naruto (not using his hax Kurama powers), wherein Sasuke doesn't want to just instantly kill Naruto with Amaterasu, would look like.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariBut it looks gorgeous. That's all that really matters.

I feel it fits in the smooth jazz genre but it's such a worthless point to argue.
:)
The ep was well done. gg nar anime
