Cause clearly Inojin being built like Sai was a distraction, So lets make him a bit pudgy and give him ridiculous over the top overall... Okay yeah Sai's skin tight body shirts would be really weird on a 12/13 year old.
Sarada apparently wasn't Feminine enough.... So we need to give her the Most Girly outfit we can think of... cause apparently The Female Breast does not exist.
NO I'm not saying Sarada needs Bazooka tits -and really the shots in the Sarada story was more likely Kishi being so use to drawing Sakura's more developed Teen physique he'd go back and forth between Sarada looking 15/16 to 12/13 depending on the angle...

So the narration says that Naruto was part of Boruto's story for a short while, so Naruto will be dying soon...from the narrator's POV, that from our POV is probably October 2017.

It is a new piece of equipment so I can imagine its introduction raising questions in regards natural and artificial abilities.

It depends, Naruto is still popular enough to warrant Boruto getting a simultaneous English and Japanese release via Shonen Jump's online magazine. The anime is also popular enough to keep going even though its in filler hell all the time. When Boruto gets its own inevitable anime adaptation that will probably give the series at least some extended longevity.

Actually, Boruto has the power to kill the franchise - if it's So Bad Its Horrible, it will kill the franchise. The series still has momentum, and it can be killed. If this were later, then a So Bad Its Horrible sequel series would actually revive the franchise, much like Dragon Ball Evolution did.
