Remember when Kakashi used Dog Summons? Man, if current Kakashi used the Dogs to pin a foe down and then used Kamui, he'd probably defeat 9.5/10 opponents.

He should have had Kamui at the time. He got the MS right when Obito died, and there's no reason to suspect that he couldn't have known about it...Minus retcons.

He didn't have Kamui then because the MS didn't exist then, and didn't until Itachi retroactively made it exist so he could gain one with which to go nuts.

Of course, if the opponent moves while the dogs are biting them, Kamui could take a dog out, so there's a big risk there.

I wonder if Kakashi could use the other Mangekyo abilities? I thought he only used Kamui because it somehow didn't render the eye blind, but that was jossed recently. If so, since he has a still-working eye would he be able to continue to use them after the Mangekyo goes blind?

Presumably. I mean, the Mangekyo goes blind, but that doesn't mean it loses its abilities.

He could aim with his other eye, but probably all the sharingan's other abilities won't work anymore.

Does Kishi even remember the Sharingan's original abilities anymore?

I don't think he remembers there is a non-Mangekyo Sharingan anymore.

To be fair, it's not like the Sharingan's normal abilities would be remotely useful right now.

Who knows? Maybe Sasuke saw where the 8 Gates were, so he'll try it, fail, die, and then other people can finish the job.

well, obito use the original power of the sharingan to stop guy sensei, but right know naruto and sasuke have dragon ball power levers so is a non issues right know
