* HarsherInHindsight: During the events of "Neighbors", Stan attempts to meet up with a reclusive Noah Maxwell, who refuses to allow Stan in, citing him as "the last fucking person" he wants to talk to. The scene hits much harder after Adam Rosner was revealed to be a serial rapist, groomer and pedophile in mid-2020, which resulted in him scrubbing all traces of himself on the internet, and becoming a PersonaNonGrata within Franchise/TheSlenderManMythos.

* SugarWiki/VisualEffectsOfAwesome: While a bit shaky in earlier videos, Evan Santiago is eventually able to master the MindScrew distortion and video effects that are prevalent in WebVideo/MarbleHornets and WebVideo/TribeTwelve. He even surpasses the latter series in a few areas!

* CompleteMonster: [[BigBad Connor]], or [[HumanoidAbomination Lines]], is Stan's brother-in-law and his [[ArchEnemy most personal foe]]. The founding member of [=WeMustCollect=], Connor [[WouldHurtAChild harvests children]] for Franchise/{{the Slender Man|Mythos}} and despises Stan for feeling remorse for his actions as a member of [=WeMustCollect=]. Wanting to recruit new members, Connor hunts those who refuse to join him; Connor murdered a [=YouTuber=] and tortured a boy for declining his offer. Kidnapping his own sister Susan, Connor threatens to murder her if Stan doesn't harvest a child for him. Four years after his death, Connor returns as Lines and murders Stan's therapist, drives his friend into committing suicide and causes the death of a little girl that was affiliated with him.

* AngstWhatAngst: {{Subverted|Trope}}. Stan's sarcasm masks PTSD as an effect of the Slender Man's hauntings and anxiety from having to manage so many appointments and making sure all his clients are even alive in the meantime.

* DoingItForTheArt: For "Neighbors", Evan Santiago tracked down the producers and actors of ''nine'' different Slenderverse blogs -- all but one of which had ended years ago -- to appear in the episode. Not only did it provide long-time Slenderverse fans with some great cameos, but it provided closure for the fans of those vlogs that were cancelled or ended prematurely.
** The presentation of the third season: Evan Santiago lost most of the footage in a hard drive crash, so instead of canceling the season entirely, he put all the footage he did shoot up on the channel while narrating what he couldn't capture. It still manages to be as captivating as all the other seasons.
* FreezeFrameBonus: A book that is opened to a "Christ and Satan" chapter. (see: WhatDoYouMeanItsNotSymbolic for more.)

* {{Narm}}: While [[spoiler: [[WebVideo/MLAndersen0 Patrick's]] return]] ''is'' very dramatic, his WhamLine is a bit too close to [[spoiler: [[Memes/SpongeBobSquarePants "No this is]] [[NamesTheSame Patrick"]]]] to be taken completely seriously. It doesn't help that the same meme was already popular amongst fans of the character's home series.

* UncannyValley: Taking a close look at Slendy in season two reveals that he has indentations where his eyes and mouth should be, and the formation of these holes make it look like he's ''screaming''. How much of this is intentional or the byproduct of the digital insert being replaced with a mannequin is unclear.

* {{Narm}}: While [[spoiler: [[WebVideo/MLAndersen0 Patrick's]] return]] ''is'' very dramatic, his WhamLine is a bit too close to [[spoiler: [[Memes/SpongeBobSquarePants "No this is]] [[NamesTheSame Patrick"]]]] to be taken completely seriously. (It doesn't help that the same meme was already popular amongst fans of ''[=MLAndersen0=]''.)

** Vincent of WebVideo/EverymanHYBRID makes a surprise cameo in Pit Stop, where he asks Evan to take him with him in an attempt to escape from the basement. Sadly, no appearances from HABIT, although Evan does ask where he can find him.

* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: While it was likely done for the sake of not derailing both this series and WebVideo/EverymanHYBRID, it's still somewhat disappointing that Stan never gets to encounter HABIT at any point in the series, especially since he's closely connected to both Slender Man and the Rake. The closest we get is a wink and a nod in Season 2, and a brief discussion surrounding him in Season 3.

* NightmareFuel: Par for the course in the Slenderverse, but this series ups the ante by having WebOriginal/TheRake [[spoiler: speak ''on-screen''.]]

** "49. Slender Man" has the titular villain mercilessly hunt down Evan, utilizing everything from CombatTentacles to TeleportSpam to attempt to catch him. At one point, he comes VERY close to suffocating Evan with his tentacles, and the video ultimately ends with him succeeding in [[MindRape Mind Raping]] Evan. After taking a backseat for most of Season Three, it's a welcome reminder that the Man in the Suit is ''not'' to be messed with.
