* AdaptationDeviation: The film was not released in America until two years after the game and the film itself is quite obscure.

** Mushroom Forest (Stage 1) is a catchy and adventurous theme right up there with the greats as memorable first level themes that set the tone for the rest of the game.
** Nightmare Land (Stage 8) is an energetic song for the final level.

* BreatherLevel: Cloud City (level 6) isn't easy per se, but quite a step down from levels 5 and 7. For some reason you don't have to hunt the keys down - they're all just sitting in front of the door - and so it's the most linear level in the game. Also, although the part where you fly up to the city in the clouds is pretty tough, the rest of the level isn't.
