    • Issue #208's "The Creator of Evil": Boris Illyitch is a sociopathic convict who developed Telepathy while in prison. Using his powers for revenge on the court that sentenced him, Boris would drive his victims to commit brutal murders and suicides, including forcing a judge to chop up his wife with an axe, and later an attorney to burn his wife and 9-year-old son to death. When a reporter confronts him and asks why he didn't try to escape, Boris gleefully admits he plans to stay in prison so he can continue spreading death and mayhem from the comfort of his own cell.
    • Issue #288's "The Piper at the Gates of Hell": The Piper himself is a cruel skeletal demon who has kept the seemingly blissful town of Anyville under his thrall for decades. Every 20 years the Piper would keep the evil and sin of the townspeople locked away, in exchange for one innocent villager he can torture and corrupt in his realm forever. Failure to keep this tradition would unleash the imprisoned evil spirits on the town. When Adam Caulfield defies the Piper to save his friend Simple Joe from being the latest sacrifice, the Piper taunts the young man that in doing so, he's condemned Anyville to ruination as the town's spirits unleash horrific carnage and chaos among the formerly peaceful townspeople.
    • "I...Vampire!": Mary Seward, Queen of Blood and founder of the Blood Red Moon, was once a kind, innocent woman as a mortal and the lover of nobleman Andrew Bennett. Upon being turned into a vampire at her request by Andrew, Mary embraced the power of hell and slew countless individuals to feed her hunger and cruelty, Mary founded the Blood Red Moon and had them kill and turn countless more innocents, even running slavery operations to bring more victims to her followers. Mary attempts to change history so the mother of a scientist will never be born and he will never be alive to invent a serum that poisons vampires, later even planning to turn Andrew's lover Deborah Dancer into a vampire and her slave while Andrew is confined beneath the Earth for the rest of his life.
