Making matters worse, Jackson received no in-comic dialogue and was the subject of some rather distasteful jokes about his way to a minstrel show. Jackson made one other appearance after his debut (which lightened his skin tone and shrunk his eyes and lips) before [[ChuckCunninghamSyndrome vanishing from the strip for good.]]
