YMMV / Deadgirl

  • Audience-Alienating Premise / Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy: A film where teens have sex with a undead sex slave. Do the math!
    • With how unlikable some of the characters can be (J.T., Joann, Johnny, ect.), it can make someone feel uncomfortable, 'especially with the ending.
  • Moral Event Horizon: J.T. crosses this when his first thought on what to do with a chained-up girl is to rape her, and then pulling a gun on his best friend for wanting to do otherwise.
  • Squick: It is about a zombie sex slave. The movie plays on this relentlessly.
  • Wangst: Rickie never gives it a rest until the end (for better and for worse).
  • Why Don't You Just Shoot Him?: Rickie, has a machete and a mission to end the Deadgirl once and for all. Then he's distracted by Joann and J.T. gives him the runaround while circling around him. In that circling he passed up several opportunities to decapitate the still unconscious/docile girl, thus foiling J.T.'s monstrous plan to create more Deadgirls, and saving Joann from a Fate Worse Than Death.
