* WondrousLadiesRoom: Shortly discussed in an episode of Season 1 where the team is rambling through an experimental cyber skyscraper's AirVentPassageway and accidentally ends up in (fortunately unused) women's bathroom. When Lioness declares it's called the Ladies Room, Hawk exclaims that he was always eager to see how the place looks and is disappointed, that it's just a regular bathroom ... with [[BreadEggsMilkSquick deadly cutting lasers]].

* SpiritualSuccessor: Aside from the ''Action Man'' link, the ATOM team's vehicles, which tend to be equipped with hidden weapons or can transform into other things (flying cars, mech-suits, etc.) recalls the earlier ''WesternAnimation/{{MASK}}'' (created by Creator/{{Kenner}}, which Hasbro bought in the early 90s; ''WesternAnimation/VorTechUndercoverConversionSquad'' was a 90s attempt that used the same general idea).

A second season aired in Europe, but never made it to the US. This season contains an interesting PlotTwist: Mr. Lee, the industrialist who was the team's mentor in the first season, turns out to have been EvilAllAlong. Even worse, he's created the Mu-Team, a group of mutated PsychoRangers with super powers, from the heroes' DNA through LegoGenetics.
