Added DiffLines:

* DontFearTheReaper: [[ZigZaggingTrope Zig Zagged]] - the Angel of Death is rather creepy-looking at first glance, though just a bit snarky and cold to Ed asking why he's not dead like he should be. After Ed and the witch summon her, her appearance is less harsh and more resembles Ed, and [[spoiler:she willingly but begrudgingly tells him that he's not on her list of dead to ferry over but she has no idea why.]] She also cozies up with the witch's cat and quite enjoys the break after they forget to release the spell holding Angel of Death in the witch's apartment.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Hipster}}: Chuck refuses to have his subjects implanted with microchips instead of collars to control [[http://www.webtoons.com/en/comedy/undeaded/ep-105-chuck/viewer?title_no=468&episode_no=105 because the former is too mainstream]].

Added DiffLines:

* MagicRealism: A bit of a subtle example considering Ed doesn't interact with normal people in very public areas much, but a nightclub for vampires has its vampire bouncer flat-out say "Vampires only" to Ed as he tries to get in, and later, undead fellows created from a military experiment that Ed freed are working at the place Ed used to with his boss saying dead guys are in demand as employees.

Ed Zamsa is clinically dead, which he knew before the doctor told him that in a checkup. He tries a bit to live his life in spite of it, but one certainly isn't going to be able to just ignore that your existence is in violation of nature, so he constantly goes looking to find out what he is now, meeting a variety of supernatural or quirky characters along the way.

!!Tropes that apply to ''[=UndeadEd=]''
* ActuallyNotAVampire: Ed's a walking corpse that doesn't appear in mirrors, but as he finds out by talking to actual ones, he's not a vampire. No one knows what he is.
* BlessedWithSuck: Ed's basically just dead and tormented with confusion over that [[http://www.webtoons.com/en/comedy/undeaded/ep-63-powerless/viewer?title_no=468&episode_no=63 while all the other supernatural walking corpses he meets get special advantages]].

* HotAsHell: The Devil's Secretary, Lucy, is a curvaceous humanoid with pointy ears and small horns coming out of her temples wearing form-fitting woman's business attire.
* MistakenForGay: Greg, the Bouncer at the vampire nightclub, assumed Ed is gay for him because he always has an erection while he's seen talked to him - Ed just apparently always has a constant one from his uniquely being undead, period.
