He then tries to pull it back and gets the 100th coin right next to one of two stars he has to pick up, successfully grabs it, but then lands on an incline steep enough that he just slides off the stage (losing the other star). Cue some of the weirdest noises you'll ever hear as he helplessly watches Mario slide to his doom.
