My name is Simon Peter Hughes, I go by that name on Wikipedia and a few other wikis. I acquired the nickname Spud when I was a tiny tot because of my love of mashed potato. I go by the username Spud on Rational Wiki.
I am originally from Stratford-upon-Avon (the birthplace of William Shakespeare) in England. I have been teaching English as a foreign language since 1997 and have lived and worked in Turkey, Poland and Japan. I have been living in a small village in northern Taiwan and teaching English to children since 2003.
I am mostly kept busy on other wikis. I will make the occasional edit here from time to time.
