Hey. I'm minkette, and I've been lurking around TV Tropes for the better part of two decades at this point. I've only really just gotten a lot more active on TV Tropes, apart from contributing examples on various pages; I'm currently workshopping a trope about dogs, and I've made at least one work's page. I forget if I made the page for a different work or not; I guess I ought to check, huh?

As far as I'm concerned, I'd like to think I'm friendly, at the very least, because I don't see the point in being rude. I dunno, maybe saying that I try to be that way means I'm not actually that way. I think I come off as a vague kind of person; I don't really know what's going on around me a lot of the time, and I tend to just accept odd things because who am I to judge? Weird things happen all the time. If I don't know a single word to encapsulate how I feel, I try comparing it to stuff, and people think it's poetic. I'm just trying to tell you how I'm feeling, you know?

I've been trying to pick up more hobbies than browsing the internet and playing video games, so I've started getting into sewing doll clothes. Maybe I should start writing more or something. Who knows? I'm still trying to get my engineering degree.

NOTE: If you are a translator interested in working on the Psychic Detective Yakumo novels, please contact me if you need a proof reader/beta reader/editor. I haven't done this for works in translation as much, but I've definitely beta read and edited a lot of fanfics and some webcomics. Though Honestly...

Stuff I've been working on lately:

  • Psychic Detective Yakumo: I've been adding a LOT of content to this page recently, and I'm planning on making subfolders for the anime, each manga adaptation, and the actual books; translations up to Volume 10, File 2 are floating around the internet, and translations of the Oda manga haven't gotten anywhere near some of the crazier plots in the book. I'm currently just trying to find the discussion page for it, though.
  • Hokuou Kizoku to Moukinzuma no Yukiguni Karigurashi: yeah, this is my fault. The manga is just really cute, but I can't find translations of the novels anywhere. This series seems virtually unknown in the anglosphere. I'm trying to add wicks to it to trope pages, in the hopes that it'll catch the eye of another person who's read the manga. It'd be fun to have someone to talk to about this.
