* {{Clannad}}: This is [[UpToEleven extremely]] {{Moe}}. I '''''hate''''' Moe. But somehow I stuck it out, watched both seasons, and managed to like this show in the end. Its stronger second season was it's saving grace, though I'm still torn on whether the final ending was [[CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming good]] or [[DeusExMachina bad]].

* PrincessTutu: After watching the first episode, my reaction was ಠ_ಠ. I am not a fan of MagicalGirl anime, and I have a very low tolerance for cute, frilly, and those cavity inducing PowerOfFriendship speeches that make me want to bash my skull against titanium. But after some coercion from friends and watching both [[DesuDesBrigade Arkada and JesuOtaku's]] reviews, I gave it another shot... Oh. My. Lord. Did I ever learn to '''never''' misjudge a show again. Just because something starts out cute, whimsy, and ''girly'' does NOT mean it can't be dark and hardcore as well. No PowerOfFriendship speeches here, and the cuteness is relegated to comedic relief and balanced by characters getting their own heart ripped out of their chests. Princess Tutu is AWESOME.
