If it wasn't already obvious, I'm a fan of Lord of the Rings. The books and the films. Hence the name. 1911 does not refer to the year, or the gun, or any other thing, but is just a random number because the handle Balrog was taken on the Darwin Awards forums.

Heavy metal is a lifestyle, and at the same time, so are string arrangements and classical concerts. Other likes.... anime, gaming, MST3K (and of course Rifftrax), films galore, martial arts, swimming, biking, psychology, economics, basically, across the board. Though that's not an entirely accurate list, as some of them are not so much interests as things that have some interesting concepts to them. So really, it's more: film geek, games geek, literature geek, and hater of snow.

Also slightly ramble-ific, and I do have a tendency to go on quite a few tangents. This is actually mostly because several successive head injuries, one of which led to a slightly fractured skull and near-death thanks to blood loss, have left me with memory issues. So when a thought comes into my head, I like to say it or note it down immediately rather than forget it.
