It was an unrealistic goal they set to allow for a season 6 of the 03 cartoon. Not something they expected

* AccidentallyCorrectWriting: The main villain Slade has a Doomsday device that projects currently premiered movies not released on physical media all over the world on any device. With the whole COVID 19 pandemic, this is now possible with no diabolical intentions... Hopefully.
* AcclaimedFlop: Despite making $52 million dollars on a $10 million dollar budget, Warner Bros. felt that the movie wasn't as successful as they hoped.[[note]]They were hoping for an unrealistic $250 million profit[[/note]] However, critics loved the movie, and it actually performed better with critics than any other DC Comics film released in the 2010s.

Only applies to/goes under the work the error is about, not the one making it.

* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer: The film itself falls for this.
** Slade cracks that he's "not interested in fighting a bunch of sidekicks", except that anyone remotely familiar with the characters would know that only Robin is famous for being a sidekick. Although it may just be Slade intentionally calling the Titans like that to taunt them for being sidekicks to a superhero sidekick.
** They also do this during the backlot scene, in which Starfire says the WB water tower is "where the ''WesternAnimation/{{Animaniacs}}'' live". ''Animaniacs'' is the title of the show, the characters who live in the tower are Yakko, Wakko and Dot and their last names are ''Warner''. Granted, most kids watching the movie wouldn't know the difference, and Starfire is a FunnyForeigner character known for making these sorts of mistakes.

* CreatorKiller: The film failing to impress Warner Bros. (despite it making back its budget) made it the final nail in the coffin for any Creator/CartoonNetwork show to ever hit the big screen. ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverseTheMovie'' and ''WesternAnimation/WeBareBearsTheMovie'', both of which were released after ''Go! To the Movies'', debuted on television or direct-to-DVD respectively, though the creator of ''WesternAnimation/TheAmazingWorldOfGumball'' is hoping to have his planned GrandFinale movie be a wide theatrical movie instead of the former two above but was recently announced to be released on Creator/HBOMax, most likely due to ''Go! To the Movies''’s failure.

* MilestoneCelebration: The film was released during the show's 5th anniversary. As the stinger features [[spoiler:the original ''WesternAnimation/TeenTitans'', it also came out during the 15th anniversary of that show]].
