* DawsonCasting: Leo is played by then 25-year-old Danny Slavin, despite his on-screen older brother Mike being played by then 21-year-old Russell Lawrence. It's especially noticeable as Russell doesn't even look older than Danny, appearing about the same age as him if not slightly younger.

Removing, since Role Reprise requires a five-year gap between appearances.

* RoleReprise:
** In the Japanese dub, Mari Maruta (Alpha 6), Katsuhiro Kitagawa (Professor Phenomenus), Noboru Oyama (Bulk) and Creator/AiOrikasa (Karone) reprise their roles again from ''Power Rangers in Space''.
** In the Latin American Spanish dub, Carlos del Campo (Bulk), Gabriel Chávez (Professor Phenomenus) and Carola Vázquez (Karone) reprise their roles once again.

Old Shame is an IUEO trope. Reclassifying.

* CreatorBacklash: Paul Schrier jokingly calls ''Lost Galaxy'' "the couch season" because of how little Bulk had to do.

* CreatorBacklash: CreatorBacklash:
** It's believed Danny Slavin only took the role of Leo [[IWasYoungAndNeededTheMoney to pay for law school]] and has retired from acting since. The behind-the-scenes troubles that went on while filming the ''Lost Galaxy''/''Lightspeed Rescue'' team-up the following season only further soured his feelings towards his experiences (basically, the producers tried to screw over Trakeena's actress Amy Miller out of her paycheck and Slavin literally walked off the set alongside Miller in protest of this, forcing the producers to have to hire a body double for the remainder of his scenes and do their best to avoid showing his face during the episode). It practically took a miracle (and the producers calling in personal favors) to get him to appear in "Forever Red", and he repeatedly turned down numerous invitations to appear at [[FanConvention Power Morphicon]]. However, as of 2014, he's begun to soften up, as he's made appearances at conventions and also accepted [[http://www.rangercrew.com/forum/showthread.php?26517-Power-Rangers-Super-Megaforce-Pre-Discussion&p=1098532#post1098532 a cameo invitation]] for ''Megaforce''.

* OldShame: Danny Slavin is probably the greatest example of CreatorBacklash in the ''Power Rangers'' franchise. Added DiffLines:

* DelayedReleaseTieIn: The only ''Lost Galaxy'' villains to have had toys released for the series' toyline were Captain Mutiny and Barbarax, but because their toys came much, much earlier than their actual appearances (delayed due to their suits being unavailable for Saban to use) they were just listed as "Space Buccaneer" and "Space Android". Making matters worse is that Mutiny and his pirates were teased 10 episodes into the series in a preview for a following episode but because of the issue with the suits they didn't appear until near the end of the series.

On reflection, Role Reprise is when an actor returns to a role after a significant break (i.e. five years or so). It wasn't that long since Scarier, Perkins, Banning and Lee reprised their roles.

** Paul Schrier once again returns to reprise his role as Bulk.
** From ''Power Rangers in Space'': Creator/MelodyPerkins returned to play Karone, Creator/WendeeLee returned to voice Alpha 6 and Jack Banning returned to play Professor Phenomenus. For Banning, it would be the final time that he portrayed Phenomenus before his death in 2005.
