* SequelGap: The gap between his fourth album ''DAMN.'' and his fifth album ''Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers'' was over five years. * ScrewedByTheLawyers: The cover art of "meet the grahams" uses a photo of several of illicitly-obtained personal possessions belonging to Music/{{Drake}} (supposedly obtained by Kendrick's contacts within Drake's inner circle), including receipts for prescriptions and jewelry under his real name. When the song was posted onto streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music, the artwork was instead replaced by [[MinimalisticCoverArt a black square]] due to their policies forbidding the use of someone else's private property as a cover image without consent.

* CreatorBacklash: Alluded in the song "Auntie Diaries", Kendrick seems to regret to the infamous incident where he shamed a white girl he brought on stage for saying the N-Word while following the performance. It's especially apparently with the last line of the song pointing out the hypocrisy of his rap community saying the F-Word but pointing out the non-usage of the N-Word strictly to blacks.

** If the multiple diss tracks released against him in 2024 are any indication, Kendrick deeply regrets collaborating with Music/{{Drake}} on "Poetic Justice", as well as associating with the man in general due to what kind of person Aubrey Graham turned out to be in his eyes.
