** During the commentary, PuffBalls mentioned that the Henry Stickmin fan wiki editors would sometimes just create character names. He just rolled with some of them, giving Dave Panpa's last name as an example. This is also what inspired the creation of the bios.

** The series gained a lot of attention after WebVideo/{{Markiplier}} and LetsPlay/JackSepticEye posted videos on the games. This wound up paying off during the release of ''Mission'', with many other streamers playing it as a result and by extension, the other games as well due to it being part of the collection. This resulted in the entire series' popularity exploding over the course of August 2020.

** The "Walkthrough" FAIL in ''Completing the Mission'' was [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZPobuBgRSs originally]] meant to be a parody of walkthrough videos made in Website/YouTube's early years - a stock opening screen made in Windows Movie Maker (blue screen, Comic Sans), the walkthrough "talking" through a screen capture of Windows XP's Notepad, and the "Unregistered [=HyperCam=] 2" song in the background ([[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKfS5zVfGBc "Dreamscape"]]). However, Puffballs couldn't figure out the song's licensing, so he came up with the endless loop instead.

* {{Blooper}}: In ''Escaping the Prison'', the sign above the entrance of the prison reads "West Mesa Penitentiary", yet several bios instead refer to the prison as "Red Mesa Penitentiary". According to WordOfGod, this was because the bios were written a few years after the graphic for the sign was made, and Puffballs forgot he had already named the prison.

* OrphanedReference: If the player isn't quick enough in the first quick-time event of ''Complex'', the Fail screen says "Notice that new timer? Now you know exactly how much time you have before your terrible reflexes are revealed." This references the fact that quick-time events in previous games had no timers. However, in the remastered compilation of the series, the quick-time events from games preceding ''Complex'' were also given visible timers and while the Fail message is slightly modified into "Notice that timer? Now you know exactly how much time you have before your terrible reflexes are revealed." to reflect that, it still explains a mechanic the player probably already went through.
