Like Requiem for a Loud, the given premise of this fic brings a lot of possibilities for sad moments.
General
- The situation the Loud family is currently in. To see such a happy family be reduced to shadow of themselves is pretty sad.
Chapter 1
- Each segment:
- Lori comes back home after her bounty hunting job and muses if she and Lynx can move on again.
- Leni's situation with Brad, an abusive boyfriend, is slightly examined.
- Luna is kicked out of the mall and has her guitar broken.
- Luan makes a joke to try and cheer up her father.
- Lynn, who is now in a wheelchair, reminisces the glory days by watching sports.
- Lincoln has Liberty take over his body, lose a contest, then blame it on him.
- Lucy takes drugs. To think she could stoop so low...
- Lana goes to the dog park... since she acts like a dog. And this isn't just her pretending to be a dog like she sometimes does on the show; she thinks she is a dog because she was raised by them.
- Lola hopes she'll get out of her prostitution job soon enough.
- Lisa tries to get answers to not feel lonely, but finds nothing.
- Lily doesn't even get a segment, we're just told she wasn't even born.
Chapter 2
- Lori and Carol's whole reunion. They meet again after so long, and it's as enemies.
- Their post-battle reconciliation
- The Loud family warmly greeting Lori once she comes to leave Lynx. This is the first time they see her after a long time, and it's just to leave her child to them before the mission.
- On a more positive note, Carol and Lori settling down to raise Lynx together. After last chapter made things incredibly bleak, things are starting to look hopeful, at least for Lori.
Chapter 3
- The sports team rejecting or doubting Lynn's ability as a coach because she's wheelchair-bound.
Chapter 4
- Lisa's awkwardness when she goes to preschool can be hard to watch, specially for people who can relate to Lisa on the social level.
