* Blake confronting Gordon after Bane reads out his speech. On the one hand, the younger cop just learned that [[BrokenPedestal the Commissioner who fought for so long to help out Gotham also covered up for a murderer]] and is rightfully angry at the lie and how much was built on said lie; and on the other hand, there's Gordon's palpable fury at the fact that there literally was ''no other way'' to help out Gotham but the bend the rules. The mob had so much power and corruption was so rampant that there was nothing he could do before Batman came into the scene and the Joker completely sabotaged the one hope that Gotham had in years of turning things around, forcing Batman and Gordon to choose the lesser of two evils to give the city some peace.
* Then there's Blake repeating Gordon's words before quitting the force, the guy went from an aspiring cop who looked up to Gordon and Dent who then had his faith in the system spat on and then tossed out to the gutter during the events of the film, with the straw that finally broke the camel's back being the refusal of the other cop at the bridge to listen to him and to instead stick blindly to his orders, nearly damning those who were trying to escape Gotham to, as Gordon put it back then, keep his hands clean.

* A subtle one, but the point where Bane is reading out Gordon's speech and he calls Harvey Dent "that madman who tried to kill my boy." It's understandable as Dent did go off the deep end and try to kill Gordon's son and they had to cover his other murders for sight years. But the fact that the man who did so much good before he went insane will only be remembered as a madman is really depressing.

* In a way. The fact Bane is so anti-climactically killed off despite being such a interesting villain who should went out with more of a fight.
