History TearJerker / Dishonored

** Another pair of, this time a father and son, are found at the end of Daud's base. The son has gone blind from the plague and thinks he is in a dark basement, while his father is trying to pull him out from the dead bodies. The son tells his father that some have survived the plague to which he responds that it's "one in a thousand, ten thousand probably". The son replies that that's still a chance and goes on to say all the things he will do when he recovers. The entire time he is disparately trying to convince himself that he will live, though it is obvious that he is one step away from death. The entire time his father is just cradling him in his arms, knowing that he too is sick and his days are numbered. [[DiedInYourArmsTonight Then the his son dies]] and the father asks you why you're here if you're not contaminated... If you leave and come back to him a little later, you'll see that he dragged himself and his dead son to beds and started sleeping. The real gut punch comes after the man's son dies and all he can say is "Goodbye, my boy."
