The CW has a new Hero
Supergirl continues to defend National City, this time with help from Mon-El, a survivor of Krypton's sister planet Daxam.
- Big Bad Ensemble: Rhea, the Queen of Daxam, and Lillian Luthor.
- Channel Hop: Supergirl moved from CBS to The CW.
- Real Life Writes the Plot: With the Channel Hop to the CW, filming moved to Vancouver. Any actor who didn't want to make the move had to be dropped; Maxwell Lord and Lucy Lane disappeared without fanfare, but Cat Grant was given an in-universe reason for leaving. Kara's relationship with James was quickly cut short as it wasn't clear if his actor would stay; he did, but the relationship remained dead.
