** Pod encounters several dwarf versions of the animals he normally coexists with when he washes up on Hațeg Island. However, the dromaeosaurs and the abelisaurs are made up. Neither animal is based on anything actually known to have lived on Hațeg (in real life, the predator rungs on the island would've been dominated by azhdarchid pterosaurs, [[ScienceMarchesOn but this was not known at the time of the show's production]]).

* StockFootage: Footage from ''When Dinosaurs Roamed America'' and ''Series/ValleyOfTheTRex'' is used during some of the paleontology segments, and a clip of a modern day pyroclastic flow is used for the volcanic eruption in "Little Das' Hunt".
