My Superhero Academy is a PlayByPost game started on TV Tropes in February 2018 by kkhohoho, inspired by the likes of Manga/MyHeroAcademia and WesternAnimation/AvengersAcademy. It's a superhero RP, set in a SuperheroSchool (obviously) called Saint Academy. Players are students of Class 1 (though its not necessary to be a freshman). The school is open for those who want to become full-fledged superheroes and for those who just want to have a grasp on their powers. Any kind of power (or lack of powers) is welcome.

* EvilCounterpart: [[ThePsychoRangers Lethal Legion]] seem to be this to Class 1, as they all have powers that correspond to Class 1 members and [[CaptainObvious they're evil.]]

* ForWantOfANail: [[spoiler: The entire bad future branches off from Lucy feeling abandoned after fighting with Mahvash and being injured. In the main time line, Hei Lin came to her aid while Mahvash left left him to it (albeit with a kit she took from the base). In the BadFuture, she just lay not able to die from a WoundThatWouldNotHeal. In neither time line did Mahvash bother to explain that she said 'I don't care' in response to Lucy trying to kill her rather than the girl begging for aid, leaving it for Lucy to interpret in light of her actions].

* SuperheroesStaySingle: Mike and Rebecca seem to averting this trope very quickly, and Mike showed little intent on staying single from his introductory scene. Also, Hei Lin and Lucy (see above). Mahvash has no intent on remaining chaste for any length of time, but also considers Class 1 slim pickings between the lack of peers and peers that she likes.

* DontGoInTheWoods: The forest is one of the forbidden zones. The last person who entered came out a satyr. No, they didn't go in that way. [[spoiler: Class 1 later enters the woods with a guide and avoids the deeper parts, but Sam still leaves a catman and they barely stop a fey invasion of Earth.]

* DemotedToExtra: Liam made sparse appearances, and Ever Green actively dislikes him for his apparent neutrality mixed with complaining, but he kept appearing up to the Deep Forest Arc. Victoria lost alot of plot relevance after her HeroicBSOD in the tournament arc, and has only made cameos in later sagas, rarely fighting any of the arc villains. [[spoiler: Most notably she did nothing when a WaveMotionGun was aimed directly at her and the rest of Class 1.]]

* PlausibleDeniability: PlayedWith. Several students declined to attend the party, but a few, like Ever Green, Matten, and Victoria did not know there was a party at all. Mikael came to get the former after everything had gone FUBAR. Victoria managed to sleep through the whole event. In any case, the staff tell everyone they see at the party that they're in trouble. Victoria may or may not avoid the same.
* PoorCommunicationKills: [[labelnote: Spoiler]] Hoo boy. The forbidden areas, outdoor pool, the forest, and the 13th closet are portals to AnotherDimension where the inhabitants have permanent easement on the students' universe to lure more subjects. The students, having not gotten this memo, proceed to throw a party in the Outdoor Pool, resulting in a number of attendees (mostly friends of Mike and Liam, much to the guilt of both) transforming into merfolk, many being brainwashed and disappearing into the other verse. Mike succumbs to transformations, such that he can't leave water, but avoids being brainwashed. And to add, the Interceptor was supposed to let the students in on this fact from the very beginning. Several students are ready to attack him when he shows up again, and Saint fires him on the spot.[[/labelnote]]

* RunningGag: Andrew's breakfast.

* EasilyForgiven: [[spoiler: Averted for morally questionable acts committed by some of Class 1 members, and especially Rosalinda's torture. They all face consequences of their actions.]]
* EnemyWithin: Quite a few lurking around Class 1. [[spoiler: Alexa has a mysterious voice questioning her every action and motivations; Liam has a power-hungry voice in his head that is both after Regalia's 'other half' and seems much more capable than Alexa's of provoking its host into action; and Lucy...has a [[SuperpoweredEvilSide feral abomination]] that emerges when she loses consciousness]].

* HeroicBSOD: Lucy has one after disabling [[WhatMeasureIsANonHuman a robot]]; though it has more to do with the way she disabled it. [[spoiler: Has a much more crippling one after she turned into a constantly growing mass of ink]].

* [[NeutralFemale Neutral 'Hero']]: Liam is often called out on this kind of behavior by his classmates, particularly Ever Green. Later, Victoria becomes this after the tournament arc and well into the Deep Forest, even with a WaveMotionGun pointed at her and the rest of the class.

* TheBusCameBack: After missing the Deep Forest camping trip, Ever Green reappears for Parents' Day, thoroughly unamused by those with parents complaining about the event. Oliver and Mike returned for Parents' Day as well. In the same arc, Omega returned with much more baggage for the plot.

* ThouShaltNotKill: The Interceptor enforces this on the students even before their first training exercise.

* WhamEpisode: The students throw a party at the forbidden, Outdoor Pool (starting [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=15189046040A95610900&page=19#470 here]]). By the end of it, there are several casualties, at least one job loss, several LetsGetDangerous moments, several [[HeroicBSOD breakdowns and near-misses]], and an epic example of PoorCommunicationKills.

Jefferson Horton had some plot impact, as his gambit [[spoiler: to manipulate a mook into a 'heroic' sacrifice fails, leaving Sam to give up and accept his [[BalefulPolymorph fate]].]]

* ChuckCunninghamSyndrome: A few of the students of class 1 vanished from the story, [[note]]is an rp[[/note]], including; Adrian/Dr. Dissonance [[note]] After his match in the tournament[[/note]], [[OneShotCharacter Lee Koto]][[note]]who first appeared in the tournament and vanished mid-race[[/note]] in a Mike Barnes [[note]]soon after he lost to Vincent[[/note]], Victor[[note]]who was last seen trying to blend in among the cafeteria staff after leading an army of killbots to the cafeteria[[/note]], Oliver [[note]]who disappeared after losing in the tournament[[/note]], and Alexandra[[note]]last seen in Armada's office--albeit in the care of an alcoholic robot[[/note]].

* DemotedToExtra: Liam makes sparing appearances, and Ever Green actively dislikes him for his apparent neutrality mixed with complaining, but he's kept appearing up to the current arc.

*** TheLeader: Sam is often a supporting leader (an XO of sorts) or at least tries to be a mentor but is hardly [[TeenTitans Robin]]. Class 1 has yet to accept a 'team leader'.
