- In the Nonary Game: Project Arius by YellowtheWriter, the author uses many memes that come from Forest Of Despair. Such as, the doors being the mastermind and the chaos that surrounds Akita. The puzzle in the Third's chapter is a nod to Akita since YellowtheWriter is a fan of the story and SanityRequiem sent Chimera.
