Later that night, The Governor sits in his apartment and sips whisky while Rowan sleeps naked near him. He enters a private room and sits on a chair, staring at an aquarium full of decapitated zombie heads, including Michonne's pet walkers and the now-deceased helicopter pilot...

* AwesomeButPractical: Several of The Governor's men use bows. When they exit the vehicles at the helicopter crashsite, he tells his men to save their ammunition and use bow/silenced kills if they can help it.

* CasualDangerDialogue: Merle, in his first conversation with Andrea and Michonne, nonchalantly dispatches a walker that was sneaking up on him.

* MercyKill: The Governor dispatches of the two dead soldiers at the crashsite in this fashion, as he explains later to Andrea.

Andrea passes out in shock, and drifts in and out of consciousness in the back of a car as it passes through a large gate. Later, a Andrea receives medical attention from a woman wearing scrubs while Michonne watches. Merle enters the room and tells them about how he survived the events in Atlanta, and asks if Andrea has seen his brother. Andrea says that Daryl was still alive when she last saw him months ago.

The group's leader arrives, and the men address him as Governor. Michonne asks to have her weapons back, but The Governor insists that they can leave the next day if they want, and he will return their weapons.The Governor brings both of them outside and shows them where they are - Woodbury, a fortified community.

Michonne and Andrea are shown to a room and given clean clothes, although Michonne is highly skeptical of their circumstances. The next day, one of the ressdents, Rowan, gives the duo a tour of the town. Meanwhile, The Governor visits the injured helicopter pilot and asks him to give the location of the other army personnel so he can find and rescue them with his men.

Afterwards, The Governor visits the lab of his top advisor, Milton, where the latter is having an argument with the latter. The Governor tells Merle to find out more information about Andrea, then has a conversation with Milton about Michonne's mutilated walkers acting as a repellent for other walkers.

The next day, The Governor, Milton, Andrea and Michonne have breakfast together. Michonne is still not convinced of what is going on, and again demands her weapons, while The Governor urges them to rest a while longer. After breakfast, Michonne tells Andrea that she doesn't trust The Governor, while Andrea wants to stay in Woodbury longer.

Elsewhere, the convoy of National Guard personnel the crashed helicopter was part of are checking their coordinates when The Governor drives up alone, wielding a white flag. He gets out and tells the squad leader that he found their pilot and offers to escort them to Woodbury, just before his men pop out of the woods and massacre the soldiers. The Governor and his men return to base, where they give the townspeople a story that the convoy was devoured by "biters", and left behind all of their equipment. Andrea asks The Governor for his name, and he replies that he'll never tell.

Several soldiers onboard a National Guard helicopter are flying over a forest. Suddenly, their engine fails and the aircraft spins out of control before crashing in a forest. Watching this from a distance, Andrea and Michonne see the crash and walk towards it.

As they near the crashsite, Michonne ties her pet walkers to a tree and tells Andrea to wait while she investigates. As she walks around the crashed aircraft, she notices vehicles approaching, and quickly runs to hide. The vehicles stop at the site, wherein several armed men exit and are told to use stealth kills on walkers if they can help it. The men proceed to rescue the pilot and take out the two soldiers who died in the crash, while Michonne's pet walkers begin making noise. Michonne silences them, but they're soon discovered - by Merle Dixon, who is now sporting a bayonet where his hand used to be.

Andrea passes out in shock, and awakes later in the back of a car as it passes through a large gate. Later, a groggy Andrea receives medical care while Michonne watches. Merle enters and tells them about how he survived the events in Atlanta, and asks if Andrea has seen his brother. Andrea says that Daryl was still alive when she last saw him months ago.

Michonne asks to have her weapons back, but The Governor insists that they can leave the next day if they want, wherein they will get their weapons again. Andrea also learns that anyone who dies turns into a walker, just before The Governor brings both of them outside and shows them where they are - Woodbury, a fortified community.
