Welcome to Gitmo is the second episode of The Last Ship's first season.
USS Nathan James heads to Guantanamo Bay to refuel and restock at the US military installation there. Upon arriving, the crew discovers that the virus wreaked havoc there as well.
There are some survivors, though. A group of terrorists who were being held in a high security wing and Tex, a private military contractor who was guarding them. The terrorists had been free in light of the virus destroying all order at Gitmo, but they immediately turned on the men guarding them. Tex is the only surviving guard and the crew of Nathan James find themselves having to hunt the terrorists down in order to secure Gitmo's food and fuel supplies.
Also, Nathan James discovers that she's not the only ship on the sea.
