The ground beneath Trevor and Sypha gives out, and the two fall into a deeper level of the catacombs than the cyclops's chamber, one with ancient traps and arcane technology. Deep within, they find a chamber containing a stone coffin, and contained inside, the rumored "sleeping soldier", who is actually a vampire. The vampire and Trevor fight one another to a standstill, after which the vampire reveals his identity as the son of Dracula: Adrian Tepes, better known as Alucard. Alucard explains that he was resting in his coffin to recover after a prior fight with his father, and offers his aid to Trevor and Sypha in their fight against Dracula.

* ArmorPiercingQuestion: Blue Fangs delivers one to the Bishop during his BreakingSpeech, letting him know that not only is God real, but disgusted by the Bishop's actions, which led to a vengeful Dracula bringing Hell on Earth. The Bishop refuses to take responsibility for what he's done, and is mercilessly killed by the demons.

* BossBattle: Trevor's battle with Alucard can be considered one for the episode. After battling various demons who die in one hit with the help of the village, Trevor has to battle a considerably-more-powerful Alucard on his own with Sypha as a witness.

* DefeatMeansRespect: After a long battle, Alucard manages to pin Trevor to the floor. While it appears that Alucard was the victor, he finds out that Trevor has a knife just above his heart, with Sypha ready to blast him with a fire-ball if he tries anything. Realizing [[WorthyOpponent what kind of people they are]], Alucard calls off the fight, instantly heals his wounds, tells them who he really is and joins their group.

* NotAfraidToDie: When Alucard has Trevor pinned to the floor, Trevor aims a knife on Alucard's heart. Alucard warns him that he will rip Trevor's throat out, but Trevor tells him that staking the vampire was always the goal, surviving is just a luxury. Luckily [[SecretTestOfCharacter Alucard isn't planning on killing either Trevor or Sypha]].
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Blue Fangs explains in slow detail how the Bishop's corrupt actions have lead God to forsaking him and desanctified the hallowed grounds of the church, calling it just an empty box, and thus permitted Blue Fangs and his crew to enter to kill the Bishop.
* SaltSolution: Salt kills demons and Trevor tells the townsfolk to rub their weapons with salt. True enough, once the second line of Pikemen in the Trevor's ad-hoc militia have a number of demons skewered on top their makeshift pikes, the swordsmen rush in to follow up and easily shred the demons with their salted blades.

* SecretTestOfCharacter: Alucard's battle with Trevor was a test of his and Sypha's resolve in defeating Dracula. When they successfully trap him, he yields and explains the situation.

* WhatYearIsThis: Trevor points out that while the Catacombs are old, the room holding the tomb has been recently used, and Alucard hasn't been here for centuries. Alucard asks Sypha what year it is, and when she tells him it's 1476 AD, he admits that he's probably been asleep for a year at most.
