* Being a source of wisdom and knowledge for mankind, Ganesha is a fellow deity of whom Prometheus is friendly with. The Remover of Obstacles feels bad for [[AndIMustScream God of Forethought's ordeal]], but was glad Prometheus was eventually released from that fate. God of Crafty Counsel is on speaking terms with most of the Greek pantheon (their regular versions at least). He doesn't interact with the version of the Gods where [[VideoGame/GodOfWar they got infected by the evils of Pandora's Box]] (which was made by Zeus to spite him) and which he found himself locked up again. Kratos eventually found, freed and killed him, but he doesn't have any hard feelings towards the Ghost of Sparta since it was a MercyKill. Plus, he understands what it's like for Zeus to screw you over.

* Although lighthouse keeper Ephraim Winslow and sociopathic AI [=GLaDOS=] may not have much in common, they do share a fate similar to the Titan God. Both were both [[Main/BeakAttack pecked by birds of prey]] as punishment for the respective sins they have committed. For the former, it was after he becomes increasingly fascinated with the lighthouse's light and went mad because of it, which later becomes his undoing. For the latter, it was because she was turned into a potato-powered computer by a petty AI core, and then plunged down the earth where a bird grabbed and feasted on her produce. Both of them don't have much to say about the titan; while Prometheus, although he still pities them, also thinks they were quite foolish, especially after he learns of their other more grievous crimes.

* While Prometheus's defiance towards the Greek Gods and presenting them fire as a means to help them develop and eventually pioneer technology was sneered at by the Gods themselves, some not only took pity to him but also admiration for wanting to provide something for benefit. Hence, Uxie decided to approach him and offer its condolences and to look after him. Surprised to see how a higher being came to respect him for what he did and tried to contribute, Prometheus thanked Uxie for the hospitality and allowed it to become his partner, especially considering that with the help of the Legendary Pokémon, he could seek further knowledge and wisdom for himself and towards others.

* It was a day like any other, many deities doing their things as usual, until someone discovered a mutilated body of a deity who happened to be strolling around. When the person in question was revived, they felt shocked and couldn't describe who or what killed them. This series of events kept going for weeks, until the House of Pantheon/{{Justice}} commenced a special operation to find the culprit. After a long investigation and finding paralels to an infamous killer belonging to Liberty City, whose modus Operandi was killing random joggers in different places, it was found that the culprit was Eddie Low, a deranged human being whose hobbies consist of masturbating in public and tearing off the limbs of his victims. He was quickly apprehended after he tried to murder another deity but killing was not an option. In the end, Eddie Low stuck around after managing to evade the authorities and escape his trial by getting a house in the Pantheon/CrimeAndTransgressions House, although he is not very proud of why.

* Prometheus was one of the four children of the titan Iapetus, known as the Titan of Forethought. During the battles between the great Titans and their Olympian children, he and his brother Epimetheus had not fought with their fellow Titans and thus were spared imprisonment in Tartarus. He was also given the instructions to help craft man out of clay. Because he ran out of gifts (like fur and wings) to give to mankind (as his brother gave them all away to the animals), he sought to better their lives even against Zeus' rules. This put the two in conflict. In one great act of defiance, Prometheus stole the fire from Hephaestus's heavenly workshop and gave it to man for their own benefit. Enraged at this slight, Zeus condemned the titan to be chained to a rock (or pillar) in the Caucasus Mountains, where an eagle (or vulture) would peck out his regenerating liver for all eternity. At least until he eventually felt mercy, and had Hercules kill the bird and release him centuries later.

* Heracles (or Hercules) originally freed him in the mountains as he was on his way to complete his Twelve Labors. The titan rewarded his help by helping the hero complete his last labor. Some say Zeus permitted his release in exchange for information Prometheus was hiding. [[WesternAnimation/HerculesTheAnimatedSeries In another story]], after a young Hercules heard of Prometheus' punishment in his school, he decided to free the titan.
* With some of his fellow Gods in the Trope Pantheon, it was evitable that Prometheus would have heard of this place. As he foresaw his ascension into the Trope Pantheon, he decided to ascend himself and try to exercise his newfound freedom. He initially requested to represent those who have [[Main/TheDiscoveryOfFire discovered fire]], but was denied as he himself didn't technically discover the fiery element. He was instead chosen to represent those who were '''ChainedToARock''', a classical cruel punishment that existed for a long time. He accept this offer as he didn't really regret having to be chained up for the sake of helping mankind.
** Like many deities, he too became an amalgam of his portrayals in other worlds, shifting his looks depending on who he's talking to or what situation he is in. His default look that of a beaded man in Greek robes with slightly longer hair. He is usually not known for fighting but then he is in danger, he can shift into either his Deity Demon self or his dual-blade wielding ''Godfire'' self. Despite some exceptions which would be mentioned later, Prometheus' altruistic personality is consistent in each of his many forms.
* While most Greek gods and their family [[JerkassGods have a nasty streak]], Prometheus [[GodIsGood is a champion of humanity]]. Often seen as a symbol of Knowledge, Crafts and the Sciences, he is welcome in all three of those houses. As he is the Titan God of Forethought who can see into the future, he is also welcome in the House of Prophecy And Fate. His previous achievements in fooling the Gods also netted respect from the Hall of Trickery.
** Having given fire to humanity, and all the good and ill that it entails, he's well-respected by the House of Fire And Heat. He and Hestia are friendly since they're two of the few members in the Greek pantheon who don't seem to have any [[JerkassGods jerk deity]] traits. He also respects Firestorm for his mastery of flame and transmutation. He is also respected by Alexstrasza for his benevolence. Ragnaros seems to respect him quite a lot, but [[KillItWithFire given his personality]] Prometheus keeps his distance.
* Friendly with fellow deity Ganesha for being a source of wisdom and knowledge for mankind. Ganesh feels bad for [[AndIMustScream his ordeal]], but was glad he was eventually released from that fate. He's on speaking terms with most of the Greek pantheon... except the time [[VideoGame/GodOfWar they got infected by the evils of Pandora's Box]] (which was made by Zeus to spite him) and locked him up again. Kratos killed him, but he doesn't have any hard feelings towards him since it was a MercyKill. Plus he understands what it's like for Zeus to screw you over.
He later discovered the reason [[Pantheon/TypesOfPopularity his father]] punished the titan was that Zeus was worried that by giving fire to mortals, they might hurt themselves. Hercules and Prometheus were able to prove that the fire can be put out (therefore making mortals worthy of having fire) and Zeus apologized for his mistakes. In the Trope Pantheon, Prometheus is glad to see that Heracles has ascended as well and would gladly aid the hero once again if he needs help.
* Some devout Christian deities have observed Prometheus' similarities with Jesus Christ. Specifically, both of them sought to achieve and spread enlightenment with their actions, with Prometheus deciding to gift humankind fire as a way to get them mentally and technologically advanced, and his stealing it from Zeus resulted in his punishment, which is similar to Jesus's depiction in Christianity where his attempt in helping humankind made him a target of persecution. Both figures are also said to have gone through some horrible torment for the good of mankind. While it isn't enough for them to start worshiping the Titan, they do respect him for his noble acts. Prometheus doesn't hold a grudge against them for worshipping a different god. Speaking of which, he is also in good relations with the various Abrahamic gods like ([[Pantheon/{{Endings}} The Love That Moves the Stars]], [[Pantheon/DivineBehavior God (God, ]][[Pantheon/IntrovertFlaws Devil and Bob)]], [[Pantheon/HolyAuthorityAndPower God (Bruce Almighty)]], and [[Pantheon/{{Prophets}} The Presence]]) as besides creating humanity, they also look out for their well-being for the most part.
* While he has lots of [[MessianicArchetype messianic elements]], his position as a rebel to the divine order also makes him [[SatanIsGood a Lucifer-like figure]]. Though disinterested in most versions of the Devil, he does get along with the one from ''Shin Megami Tensei'' for being a champion of humans and free will like himself. That's not to say he agrees with Lucifer's more extreme acts of rebellion and chaos, but there is a lot of respect for the FallenAngel. That said, it's unknown if he is serving under Lucifer in his universe. What we do know is that [[VideoGame/ShinMegamiTenseiIVApocalypse he can be a deity demon]] who gives out his flames of strength to anyone worthy to defeat him in battle.
** Serves as the Ultimate Persona to Futaba Sakura. He pities her feelings of isolation and admires what she's accomplished with her use of technology and the sciences. In general, Prometheus is a friend of the Phantom Thieves of Heart since [[spoiler:they fight against Yaldabaoth, a being who wants to rob mankind's freedom to think and rule for themselves for themselves.]] He hates YHVH for similar reasons. As he is also Baofu's Ultimate Persona, he is on good terms with the Sumaru City persona-users and could help them if [[spoiler:their world's Nyarlathotep ever ascends to the Pantheon and tries to destroy humanity again.]]
* In most timelines, Prometheus initially sided with the Olympian Gods as he foresaw the defeat of his fellow Titans. [[Literature/PercyJacksonAndTheOlympians In one specific timeline however]], he is initially neutral in the conflict of the Titans and Cronus' children but later sides with [[Pantheon/DivineRoles Cronus]], and gained the enmity of Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase. While the case of AdaptationalVillainy, his ''Camp Half-Blood'' self was mainly doing it because he had a bone to pick with the Olympians for his horrific punishment. Although a cunning and manipulative Titan that might have a larger scheme in the works, he was still one of the nicer titans, even offering Percy to give up hope to prevent further deaths. As a consequence of their experience with their world's Prometheus, the two had a harder time trusting his kinder incarnations, not being sure if they are also part of the ploy of his cunning self.
* The aforementioned Lucifer was impressed by his helping humans to trick the gods like [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trick_at_Mecone the Trick at Mecone]] when it came to animal sacrifices. To recap, in some version of his story, the titan tricked Zeus into letting man keep the best meat portions for their feasts, thus leaving Zeus to get fat and bones as a sacrifice to him. Angered, Zeus took fire away from mankind; only for Prometheus to stole and give fire back to them. Tricking the Gods at least twice just to help humans; even the trickster god Loki respects him for those stunts.
* [[Recap/SupernaturalS08E16RememberTheTitans In a timeline]] where Heracles never rescued him, Prometheus was discovered by a mountain climber named Hayley. As he cannot recall his memories, she gave him the name "Shane", and the two became lovers (and later bore a child together). The Winchester brothers found Shane during one of their cases and discovered Shane's true identity. They also discovered his curse of dying at least once a day, which was created by Zeus to punish him for bringing fire to man and claiming to have caused the Greek Gods to not be worshipped in their world. The brothers were glad to see Prometheus in the Pantheon sometime after his and Zeus' death, which happened after they tried to break his curse. Prometheus was relieved to hear that his and his son's curse was broken and not carried over into this realm. He also contemplated bringing Hayley and Oliver as his heralds to see them again but doesn't want their lives to be more chaotic. Given his experiences with his curse, he also pities those who have experienced repeated deaths like Kenny or the Happy Tree Friends.
* The Titan God tried to look for other deities that share his ideals and love for humanity. He met the angelic scientist Promestein, initially because she happen to contain his name. She is introduced fire to humanity in her world, which got her imprisoned for coming into contact with them and sharing forbidden knowledge. She also likes humans as she thinks they share her curiosity and usage/growth of technology, and even deemed them her rightful successors; although she was also using them for her cruel experiments (which is something the titan as disapproving of). There's also Keiki Haniyasushin, a known god who leads a rebellion against the Animal Spirits and always acts in humanity’s best interest. She could also sculpt creatures out of clay just like the titan. However, she needed human followers to worship her in order to physically exist, which mirrors that of YHVH’s style of rule; something Prometheus understands but is a bit conflicted about as he prefers humankind to be independent of the gods.
** The Anguished One, on the other hand, found a kindred spirit in the titan much like in Lucifer. Having created human civilization and been watching over it for a long time, he grew fond of the humans to the point that he disagrees with his superior's decision to eradicate the world and helped put a stop to these plans. Prometheus admires this fact about Alcor. Raiden is another god he managed to ally with; he was the dedicated protector of Earthrealm who slowly grew fond of the humans that represented his realm. Upon meeting with the titan, the Thunder God was notably pleased to see another god fighting on humanity's side.
* Prometheus is still fond of humanity even after suffering from his punishment. In turn, most humans are fond of the titan god, given his contributions to the growth of humankind. For example: although not his creation, Adam and Eve seem to get along being the titan being one of the few Gods who probably isn't likely to call for the destruction of humanity like the gods of their world. He also gets along with the band STARSET, considering their goal of promoting science and spreading knowledge via their music, alongside the present aspects of rebellion and fighting for the sake of freedom (as seen in both timelines present in the narrative).
* Merged Zamasu hates, ''hates'', '''HATES''' him. Believing mortals are wicked for misusing the knowledge of the gods, he blames Prometheus for allowing them the knowledge in the first place and even helping to create them. Prometheus responded that while it's true [[VillainHasAPoint man has misused divine information]], [[RousseauWasRight they are capable of great things]] and that Zamasu [[YouAreWhatYouHate is worse than ANY mortal he has come across]]. The MadGod lost it and carved Prometheus in half, swearing he would inflict on him a fate far worse than what Zeus inflicted on him for his "ultimate sin", though he was rescued before Zamasu could inflict this fate.
* Although he is free from his bounds, he still has not completely escaped his eternal punishment. After being freed, Zeus ordered the titan to wear on his finger an iron ring from his chain, into which a piece of the rock was set, thereby ensuring that the titan would ever carry the weight of his punishment with him. He pities those who were given a similar punishment of being chained and given [[FateWorseThanDeath a fate worse than death]] or other similar long-term punishments. The Hulk, for example, was punished with this exact fate when he tried to demand something from Zeus and lost a fight with him. He was also pecked by a vulture before being rescued by Heracles after several days. To a lesser extent, he also pities Victor Frankenstein's failed attempt at playing god and creating [[Pantheon/ArtificialBeings a new kind of human]].
* Understandably terrified of eagles and vultures (especially those who eat flesh), so he actively avoids any deity related to them. Or Truth, given his punishments to beings considered to abuse knowledge like human transmutation. Not that the Truth cares much about what Prometheus does. Or [[FateWorseThanDeath givers of fates worse than death]], leading him to hate AM. He also disapproves heavily of Qin Shi Huang for withholding knowledge from Their people while believing [[UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans They are doing the right thing]]. He also doesn't like SCP-542; he's interested in the titan's regenerating organs and tried [[Main/NoodleIncident to steal his liver once]]. And he really hates SCP-953 due to a mix of her extreme sadism and fondness for livers, while she sees him as an ever-lasting supply of livers to eat.
* Although a lighthouse keeper and a robotic AI may not have much in common, they do share a fate similar to the Titan God. Both were [[Main/BeakAttack pecked by birds of prey]] as punishment for the respective sins they have committed. For the former, it was after he becomes increasingly fascinated with the lighthouse's light and went mad because of it, which becomes his undoing.
''"Even if I am to be chained to a rock, my duty is to love you and give you wisdom... The fire I have given you is your indomitable spirit..."''
