I'm not sure why this isn't here? Honestly the idea of a Mad God that governs fire is terrifying, and Daybreaker's scenes prove this.

Added DiffLines:

** Daybreaker possesses some extremely terrifying fire power (literally), not at all helped by her intense hatred for her sister and how power-hungry she is. She attempts to burn Nightmare Moon with her breath, a cinder of which ends up on the platform Starlight is standing on and nearly engulfs her when it consumes the platform. Then her eyes become pure red as she basically becomes a living sun, with flames visibly appearing around Celestia's magic barrier as Daybreaker attempts to roast them alive. Finally she knocks Nightmare Moon down and the scene shifts to the princesses' throne room, and as she utters a crazed petrifying laugh, Daybreaker sits on the throne and turns the nearby supports into pillars of fire with clear intention of establishing a regime governed by blaze. With how scarily powerful and destructive she is, the fact it's all just a dream is a good thing - given that it's evident Daybreaker's rule would bring upon a world of fire if she ever came to be, Nightmare Moon's reign in never-ending night would've certainly been preferable.

* Even though it's a paranoid delusion in a hypothetical illusion, the fact that Twilight Sparkle imagined Garble grabbing Starlight Glimmer and diving into lava and believes it to be a possibility... means that Twilight Sparkle believes that Garble is willing to murder ponies. That's a pretty strong vote of no confidence from the Princess of Friendship.
** Also notice that Spike specifically said that Starlight Glimmer would just teleport if she found herself in this kind of danger instead of protesting the idea that Garble would actually do something like that. That's because Spike also believes that Garble is willing to murder ponies.

** Horrifying in a meta-sense when you realize that the doctor who discovered the nature of infectious diseases in England in the 19th century committed suicide. He realized that he himself had been infecting people because he both performed autopsies and visited patients without adequate decontamination.

* Celestia brings Luna out of her nightmare and into Starlight's because Celestia doesn't know how to stop Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker's fighting. Even though it was a nightmare, Daybreaker was clearly much more powerful than Nightmare Moon, who for the most part was on the defensive against Daybreaker's attacks. Yes, Luna giving into her SuperpoweredEvilSide would not be enough to stop Celestia if she also gave into her own.

* The hate between Granny Smith and Grand Pear when both clans were in Ponyville can be described as petty and frivolous as can be expected with family rivalries. But when Grand Pear disowned his daughter, Pear Butter, that gave Granny Smith a passionate and justified reason to hate Grand Pear and Pears in general which is the worst kind of hatred a living being can be capable of. The reason why reconciliation is so important is because justified hatred is a truly dangerous emotion as evidenced by Granny Smith getting angry at the mention of Grand Pear or the sight of Pear products. Her aforementioned hatred is never shown on-screen, only mentioned.
