* We have Slade on Mirakuru learning the full story of Shado's death and undergoing his inevitable FaceHeelTurn. Even before then, he dishes out a MookHorrorShow while wearing the Deathstroke mask, and after his turn, he chases down and catches Oliver, imprisons him on the ship, [[AsskickingEqualsAuthority kills the Captain and takes over]], and ''[[AnArmAndALeg chops off Ivo's hand]]''. He has become all but unstoppable, and his rage is chilling to witness. Oh, and the ''very last shot'' is of [[EyeScream Slade with his eyepatch off]].

* A meta example, Ra's wanting Nyssa to produce an heir for him sounds a lot like rape. One of his lines is "You will have no say in this like how your mother didn't," possibly stating that Ra's may have raped Nyssa's mother to produce an heir. As well, it does seem that if Nyssa was to produce another female heir, Ra's would have that heir raped as well for his male heir, which shows off that while Ra's may be polite to a fault with most people, get on his bad side and he will ''never'' forget.
** The line also points out that Ra's is expecting and willing for Oliver to rape Nyssa for an heir.

* Meta example: Felicity, despite being a light-hearted character within the show, has ''huge'' emotional issues such as Anxiety and Abandonment Issues that have either spawned from working with Team Arrow or her Childhood. Now imagine what will spawn from being forced to kill tens of thousands of people.

* The prostitute serial killer. While Roy hopped up on Mirakuru might be terrifying, the blade the guy was planning to use on Sin looks like some ghastly fusion of a penknife and a corkscrew. It's clearly not designed to kill quickly, or cleanly. [[FridgeHorror What did he do to those other women? What would he have done to Sin if Roy hadn't stopped him?]]

* Adrian having planted C4 '''all over Lian Yu''', set to go off when he dies. And when he does, the island lights up, ''with explosions visible for miles''. [[FridgeHorror And all of Team Arrow was still on the island...]]

** FridgeHorror realizing that with Oliver in Level two there’s no one to stop Brick.

* The ending is pure AdultFear. Thea goes out alone at night and [[BigBad Slade]] drives up to offer a ride. And for more [[PsychoSerum Mirakuru]]-related goodness, we have Roy crushing the shoulder of a guy who bumped him and refused to apologize. Listen closely enough and you can hear [[SickeningCrunch crunching]].

* William being kidnapped has demonstrated [[AdultFear every parent's worst nightmare]]. You can see how desperate and distressed Samantha became when she mentioned how she called the Central City Police Department, and they still can't find her son after 48 hours.

* Watson arresting Oliver [[AdultFear in front of his son.]]

* Just '''imagine'' having to learn that your only son [[AdultFear got murdered]] while you are imprisoned alone in a dark container, like Cayden James had to.
