She goes from being a noble, idealistic young princess to discover she's a Norma, seeing her mother taking a bullet for her, being betrayed by her older brother, and getting conscripted into the penal colony of Arzenal to fight [=DRAGONs=]. After her first sortie results in the death of other two rookie pilots and her squad captain, she becomes a pariah in Arzenal, and from there on out she comes to hate the world and loses her trust in pretty much everything and everyone, deciding that she will fight to survive and nothing else.
