* WebVideo/SovietWomble: During one of the ZF clan's "Antistasi" campaigns in III, one of their missions is to destroy a factory, which is supposed to be done by quietly infiltrating them and planting bombs before detonating them. The clan tries this twice, and they inexplicably fail to do any damage. Once the second attempt fails, they try to brute-force it by strapping bombs onto one of their trucks and car-bombing it. Unfortunately, one of their members is given a dead-man's switch as a failsafe, and when said member suddenly disconnects, the explosive truck suddenly goes off, killing all of them mid-sentence.

* Fanfic/MyHeroAcademiaUnchainedPredator: A unique variation in that the Slayer hurls an intact double-tanker full of gas towards the Sabers gathered at the I-Expo. While it didn't detonate automatically, when it did, it killed dozens of Sabers instantly or left the ones covered in gasoline burning alive as the flames spread. This is used to disorient them as he pulls a BaitAndSwitch.

* During the Russo-Ukranian war, Russians episodically used remote-controlled vehicles, stuffed with explosives, against Ukranian fortifications. The most common of them were MT-LB light [=APCs/towing vehicles=], but old tanks were used as well. The explosives used mostly consisted of mine-clearing line charges, sometimes enhanced with aerial bombs.

* Film/Predator: There's a truck up on blocks so its engine can be used to power the guerilla camp. Creator/ArnoldSchwarzenegger's character puts a SatchelCharge in the back, then uses his great strength to raise the truck so the blocks fall over and the truck goes careening downhill into the camp, whereupon he sets off the charge's radio detonator.
