* One of the most infamous examples in North America are the "Big Red" cinnamon gum commercials of the '80s and '90s, which featured couples kissing to show how long the product can keep your breath fresh. A RunningGag (such as you can have one in a 30-second spot) in each one is cutting back to a particular couple who are shown smooching throughout the commercial, and the final shot is everybody else at the location having left(or in the process of doing so) while the couple is ''still'' smooching. (one had said couple at a kissing contest. The last judge just hangs the trophy on their arms and goes home).

* Exaggerated with Rich and Amy in ''ComicStrip/{{Zits}}''. There are almost always seen together in an exaggeratedly[[note]]Their cells even go under mitosis![[/note]] close hug to the point that their classmates nickname them "Richandamy" and Rich had his arms still locked in a hug during his temporary breakup.

* In ''Fanfic/MyHuntsmanAcademia'', [[spoiler:Izuku and Yang]] quickly exchange five more kisses in the span of a few minutes after sharing their first one on the Solstice.
* ''Fanfic/FuturesFreakMeOut'': After their first time, Shinji and Asuka cannot keep their hands off each other for one whole week.
* ''Fanfic/TheSecondTry'': After coming clean about being time-travelers, Shinji and Asuka do not need to hide their relationship from Misato; hence, they are constantly touching each other, even during breakfast. Asuka claims "being a hormone-driven teenager again sure helps".
* In the ''Fanfic/FacingTheFutureSeries'', Danny and Sam spend the majority of their free time in-between ghost-fighting practically glued to each other. Their favorite places to make out [[GetARoom include closets and lockers]].
* In ''Fanfic/TheMoreThingsChangeSeries'', [[WesternAnimation/KimPossible Kim and Ron]] have more romantic moments than they did in the PostScriptSeason of the show. The author felt the need to do this in order to make up for the RunningGag of {{Almost Kiss}}es they went through.
* ''Fanfic/TheSimpsonsTeamLASH'': Monty and Waylon Burns are a rare example of an adult married couple being this. The two of them are ''constantly'' canoodling, and will launch into make-out sessions at the drop of a hat- which makes everyone around them, [[ParentalSexualitySquick especially their daughter Anastasia]], feel very awkward.
* Robert Frank and Madeline Joyce-Frank from ''Fanfic/SixesAndSevens'' have an exceptionally healthy love life...to the point where characters notice them briefly stealing away and returning dishevelled in the middle of missions. They're also pansexual and bisexual respectively, ''and'' polyamorous, so they tend to pull all manner of other people into their make-outs as well (consensually, of course).
* ''Fanfic/GuysBeingDudes'': Spark and Arlo specifically invoke this during their visit to the night market on Spark's birthday, at Spark's request because his ex had too much dignity to do it with him. They spend the entire time holding hands and making out in specifically visible locations, just in the name of invoking the trope and being obnoxious.

* Robert and Ella in ''Film/{{Boar}}'' don't seem to be able to keep their hands off one another for more than 5 seconds. Ella's mother and stepfather are remarkably tolerant of this.
* Molly and Kirsty in ''Film/WhenEvilCalls''. Their make-out session in the corridor between classes causes another girl to wish she "looked good enough to eat". [[IAmAHumanitarian Unfortunately for her]] [[JerkassGenie her wish comes true]].
* Mikal and Ingunn in ''Film/ColdPrey''. They spend the car trip to the mountain making out in the backseat next to an uncomfortable Morten Tobias. Later, when everyone is trapped in the abandoned hotel, they decide to go find a room they can have sex in.
* One scene in ''Film/VoyageOfTheRockAliens'' has a couple passionately making out on the beach for several minutes until the tentacle monster drags the boyfriend away. The girlfriend seems strangely unaffected.

* In ''Film/Bait3D'', Kyle and Heather are having a make-out session in their car in the underground car park when the tsunami hits. They get trapped there--along with Ryan--and their plight forms the B-plot.

* Richandamy from ''ComicStrip/{{Zits}}'' are ''such'' Make-Out Kids that they're always depicted as an impossible tangle of limbs, only ever referred to by their PortmanteauCoupleName, and just generally treated by all the other characters as being a single organism.
** In one comic, Jeremy's girlfriend finds Amy sobbing all by herself, talking like Rich left her or something. In the last panel, Rich comes out of the men's room and Amy glomps him, sobbing "Don't leave me like that again!"
