* ''Manga/CesareIlCreatoreCheHaDistrutto'' takes place in 1491, before France was what modern people are familiar with. The leader of France's student association at the University of Pisa is Henri, a racist BarbaricBully and rival of the protagonist, Spain association leader Cesare Borgia. In one memorable scene, Cesare's friend Angelo says that the ancients must have been looking at someone like Henri when they imagined the Minotaur, and Cesare decides to stage a bullfight, with Henri as the bull. He plucks a red cape off of the shoulders of his other rival, Giovanni de'Medici, and waves it around, baiting Henri while lecturing him about tolerance, and all the wonderful things Europe has learned only through Islam, and how Spain is better because of its fusion culture, not corrupted as Henri says. It's even more fantastic in [[Theatre/CesareIlCreatoreCheHaDistrutto the musical]].
