** Zangoose and Seviper are natural enemies, as stated in their Pokédex entries and shown in some gameplay features such as the horde encounters in [[VideoGame/PokemonXAndY the sixth generation]], where they prioritize fighting each other instead of the player. This doesn't stop fans from shipping both Pokémon, further fueled by the fact that they're in the same egg group and thus can be successfully bred together.

I'm aware that the post-S3 fans usually cite the wall pin as inspiration for the ship, but the darker content for Lila having a one-sided crush on Marinette to the point of sexually harassing her is mostly just a reason to push for shipping Marinette with another character, so calling it a tendency of Lila/Marinette fans is a stretch.

** Lila/Marinette is quite popular too, despite their hatred for one another. While Chloé/Marinette centric fics tend to double as Chloé undergoing a HeelFaceTurn and becoming a better person, Lila/Marinette fics tend to revel in Lila's canon status as a consummate liar and master manipulator by having Marinette fall in love with her as part of a greater plan (only catch feelings herself in the process). They also tend to be darker, with writers taking canon moments [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/lady-bug/images/2/28/Chameleon_149.png/revision/latest?cb=20200223231523 like this]] and re-framing them as sexual assault and AttemptedRape.
