One could argue that this trope is essentially Junko's FatalFlaw; even when she achieves victory in madness, she'll end up sabotaging her own victory just so she can feel a temporary boost of mad excitement again, only for it to fade away, creating a ViciousCycle that leads to her defeat.]]
