* BigBad: Over the course of the five books, three figures occupy this spot: in the first book Kalak, whose plans may kill the entire population of Tyr. After his death, the second book portrays Hamanu, king of Urik and direct threat to the now Free City of Tyr as the biggest threat. In the last three books, the Dragon himself takes the spotlight as the biggest enduring threat the heroes have to overcome.
