* AnchoredTeleportation: While standard teleportation does not appear to require a physical component, in order to escape an area under an active teleport interdiction spell, Yennefer uses a random oyster shell to teleport to its place of origin. Since this is essentially a [[SuicideMission nigh-suicidal]] BlindJump (and she does indeed end up in the middle of a sea and only survives by a stroke of luck), the interdiction spell was not set up to cover such a possibility.

Okay. I re-read the relevant fragment to be sure, and it's specifically not after a successful escape. They weren't yet safe, the escape continued during the next day, and two of them were yet to die before they got to safety. Even if it still counts as this trope, the description should reflect that.

I'm muting this one unless somebody remembers the series better than me. As far as I remember this scene, this was explicitly not: the crossing had low chance of success and it was something between The Last Dance, Someone To Remember Him By and Fling A Light Intothe Future. By Elven logic, their low numbers and fertility meant that this might've been their last chance of contributing to the propagation of their species. As for Milva, she seemed to have went along out of some weird sense of societal pressure, with no real desire to participate, but not coerced either.
