* With Red Harvest out scouting the enemy's location, the six remaining warriors defending Rose Creek help to rebuild the church that Bogue callously set ablaze in the film's opening. A heroic gesture of kindness in and of itself, the fact it is a multiracial band of warriors (Black, Hispanic, Asian, AND White) gathering as one to rebuild a symbol of home and community torn apart by greed and violence also makes this scene a symbolic representation of the hope for tolerance, forgiveness and friendship across the brotherhood of humanity.

* With Red Harvest out scouting the enemy's location, the six remaining warriors defending Rose Creek help to rebuild the church that Bogue callously set ablaze in the film's opening. A heroic gesture of kindness in and of itself, the fact it is a multiracial multiracial, multicultural band of warriors (Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, Asian, AND White) White, with two of said whites being at-the-time marginalized peoplegroups in America: Irish and Cajun) gathering as one to rebuild a symbol of home and community torn apart by greed and violence also makes this scene a symbolic representation of the hope for tolerance, forgiveness and friendship across the brotherhood of humanity. humanity.
* The miners working for Bogue at the beginning of the film almost immediately go to help the townsfolk put out the fire, before being threatened by Bogue's Regulators. Come the middle of the film, the Seven raid the camp, killing the enforcers, and the audience discover that most of the miners across the river (as opposed to those camped outside of the town) are conscripts (as implied by an elder miner held in lockup, possibly for dereliction, or knowing Bogue's general lack of ethics, more likely because he was too tired or ill & refused to work). Chisolm informs the conscripts that they are free to leave, which most men in their situation likely would. The miners not only gratefully show the Seven where the work camp's stash of munitions is (an offence that could see them reimprisoned, even if Chisolm is a warrant & peace officer who just gave them their freedom, as they would be accessory to larceny), but as the audience sees when the Seven return to Rose Creek, most of the miners decide to fight & die beside the townsfolk outside of a few clearly too injured to even walk (let alone fight), and even then there are at least two missing limbs that still chose to fight. These men may be conscripts, but they demonstrate more moral fiber & righteousness than the very sheriff's office of the town, let alone the crackskull Pinkerton-expies from Blackstone that helped Bogue put them through labor that arguably counts as slavery.
