* Vita and Navy's Another Mission. When Vita was first introduced, she came off as a bit of a Body Horror, with a rather scary protrait, and an ominous-sounding skillset. Then we meet Navy, the person who did it. The AM story shows how and why Navy did it, including going to bat against the Professor just to allow Vita to retain her own will, and taking Vita under her wing until she could regain her own will to live, which she does to defend Navy against White Baby and Sol De Rokker Anima. Navy's methods were arguably crude, but she genuinely wanted to save Vita life, and has shouldered the responsibility to oversee her recovery as a ''person'', not just an experiment.

* In Aileen's Another Mission, two [[GasMaskMooks Ptolomaic soldiers]] injured in the Pirate Queen's attack beg their [[EliteMook commander]] to save himself. The commander does run away, but not before lifting ''both'' of his men onto his shoulders and carrying them with him.
